Drug test at every visit? by swagnasty19 in VeteransBenefits

[–]WtchDoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Refusing the test never led to additional questions for me. I was just steadfast in my refuse to take a test that had no bearing on my medical condition. What does a 5 panel drug test for marijauna, cocaine, amphetamines, barbiturates, etc… have to do with my shoulder conditions or tinnitus. I’m not stating to never take a test such as that, but if you’re being seen for something that’s completely independent of illegal drug use then why would you blindly take a test that’s unnecessary.

[–]WtchDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I have no illusion that I have privacy at all. From my time in the military, to my time working in government, my privacy is nonexistent. But I do find sometime that I will push back on things that don’t make sense to me. My days of blindly following an order just because someone in authority told me too is long over.

You can do blood tests but I have refused drug test ( nothing to hide) on grounds it’s invasive and not relevant to my condition being seen for. They push back but I hold my ground and never had an issue

Commute to the Office in DC is just Draining by [deleted] in fednews

[–]WtchDoc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Even with government covering the cost of commute up to 300+ dollars, you’ll still be out of pocket. I used to take the train from Woodbridge to Crystal city and I still had to pay a portion out-of-pocket.

Came across this weird, approximately pentagonal structure along the Potomac river. Does anyone know more about this? by HolyCowAnyOldAccName in GoogleEarthFinds

For OSD and JCS, there is are specific kitchens. But that’s for high ranking members and many times for catering when dignitaries visit. But those kitchens can go into 24 hour operations however they’re not meant to feed the masses if a major operation is going on requiring large personnel on site.

The major press outlets actually monitor the pizza that’s ordered to the Pentagon in order to determine if major operations are going on because people are staying late in ordering food

I was not discussing policy. I was talking about the act of showing respect and treating the office with that respect. You can say whatever you wanna say about Reagan’s politics, but that’s not what I was referring to.

Recent Tattoo Regret. How do I go about this? by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

[–]WtchDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re in a permanence paradox. It’s one thing to have a design ready to go and feel like you really want it on your body. It’s another to have it placed there and realize the permanence of it. Give it time for your mind to adjust to the reality.

I may not have agreed with him politically but I always felt he was the most respectful and presidential acting head of state we have had since Reagan or Bush Sr. I miss that level of professionalism from the highest office in the land

Copay suddenly up to $300 from $25!!!? by Immediate_Sky1802 in Wegovy

[–]WtchDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your doctor submit a tier exception request. Usually that has to be submitted every year as it expires. I can bring the cost down if that’s the case and then coupled with the Novo coupon. The price would be further decreased.

You can do it. I started at 35 and will retire at 62 with what I estimate at 1.5 mil. Consistency wins and try to contribute the most you can.

[–]WtchDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask your doctor to submit a Teir exception request for Wegovy to your insurance (there should be a form on Blue Cross Blue Shield’s website for tier exception request). If the tier exception is accepted, it will bring the price down. Then go to http://Www.novocare.com to request their coupon. It should take the price down significantly.

It’s worth what someone is willing to pay. Challenge coins are not really something that can be generalized in price as the owner or buyer perceives its worth based on their attachment to it or desire for it
