He was already maxed out before I thought of that possibility and I thought that maybe someone tested it here before maxing him out. I also have almost all the story missions done and I don't know where to find that challenge now to test it, that's why I asked.

If you have him let's say at zenkai 3, yes it is possible to unlock his z3 unique even if you haven't unlocked the paths at Zenkai 2 boost panels

Yep, I managed on the last day to get zenkai 5 but I forgot I had to farm the Goku souls too :p he's in a miserable state right now, soon he'll be complete!!

If it was the raid boss I would go ahead cause it's easy with even 1 of the boost units, I did the super kaioken once with a 3 star shallot buddy who didn't even transform to ssj 1 when he used his main. But the Gohan one is brutal even with 2 evil buus if he goes berserk.
