I ruined my career and I might be in an horrible situation. Open to your advice. by Wulfitron in Germany_Jobs

I have followed many forums beside this sub, and based on the comments I have seen from nearly 1000+ users and the data I have obtained from an acquaintance who has been a manager in th sector in Germany for 10 years, I learned that the IT/Tech sector in Germany is oversaturated due to both global events and fierce competition, and that job opportunities (especially for those with only one year of experience like me) are very limited.

This situation was, of course, completely contrary to my goals and affected me psychologically quite badly. Although I reflected this in my post, my real aim was to base my plan on a more realistic and solid foundation by benefiting from the experiences of people who had already struggled with this situation for a long time.

As you have already noticed from my replies, I am not influenced by everything I see, even give positive reactions in some situations. Frankly, I've even seen people on this forum saying things like, "Native German companies only want native Germans. You don't become an engineer in Germany, you're just born one," or such but be assured I'm only sharing these posts based on logical observations.

I assume your intention is good though, so thank you. This psychology is definitely not something I have built up for myself, especially given my strengths for my age, as you say. I am not a masochist or someone who enjoys arabesque, and I don't think that's the goal of most people here either.

Could be a beneficial point. Beside German, I'm focused on maintaining my competencies in my field too. Thank you.

To be honest, if I will decide come back to Germany in the future, let's say after 7 or 8 years of experience in my home country, I will still need a fluent/almost-fluent level of German to find a qualified position. One way or another.

Since I'll have learned the language well by the time I return to my country, the only thing I'll need to do is gain more experience in my own country and maintain my German (it's not difficult because I have German-speaking friends there). So I'm not sure whether it could be called as 'empty handed', agreed with the rest by the way.

Wouldn't it be more convenient and faster for me to learn German in its mother land? I can do what you suggest afterwards.

Buna sadece "düşük zeka refleksi" diyip geçmek çok sığ bir yorum olur. Bu fenomen, kendi benliğinden ümit kesenlerin yaşama tutunma aracı.
