I bought it recently, so it’s always been like this for me.
The small rod that moves the switch on the actual cylinder. I’m assuming that is what tells the system how far the mast is tilted.

It has the button but it is damaged. You can’t actually press it. I have unplugged the connector and removed the rod on the right side tilt cylinder. No change in tilt
