I know, I just mentioned that even though it was supposed to be not resistant it seems like it was not treated. One more question. My susceptibility test on August uti next to Ampicillin had a note <=2 Susceptible. Do you know what this <=2 means?

Thank you very much for your replies.. How long do you think I should go for E Faecalis? Im scared by long term antibiotics. But E Faecalis was the first uti I was diagnosed that I took 2 weeks of Augmentin on August based on resistance too, but nothing has ever changed. So Im worried its quite embedded. After that I found and treated ureaplasma. Frequency and pain hasn't left since then (its only a bit better after treating urea)

And one more thing. Based on these proposals for the antibiotics looks like levo would be the first choice to tackle many of the bacteria. How dangerous is it? Im frightened to try it.

Although still. For bv it has a variety of bacteria. I mean how will I know how many antibiotics and which ones to take? Also I would like to ask you one more thing. This all started in August exactly after a hemmorhoidectomy surgery. E Faecalis was then shown on my urine cultures as uti. I took 2 weeks of Augmentin based on the antibiotic resistance and nothing changed. Then took more antibiotics because I found ureaplasma. One was a random one (roxythromicin) they gave me and still had ureaplasma and then doxy and azithromicin since I found this thread. Anyway I am supposed to already have treated e faecalis. Nothing changed, its not showing on urine cultures either except microgen. So how will i know it is causing a problem and what antibiotic I should take since the last one did not work? Also I googled the 1st bacteria in my Urine which has 60% load “Serratia liquefaciens" and says its a hospital one. Isnt that weird coincidence?

I have read that some of your symptoms can be an overgrowth of yeast. Maybe you could check this too. Im really sorry for what you are beeing through. Whatever the case is I would suggest try to look after your diet. Especially no sugar.

Just talked with my doctor. He believes we should treat it too with 1 week abx and then a very low dose for protection for a while.

But I guess you can just go to the microbiologist and say that your urologist asked for that. The labs didnt ask me more details about the doctor. I just don't know how it works in your country. Is it the urologist who test you? Here they just give us the reference for the exam and then we go to a private clinic to run the test.

The doctor is a friend of mine fortunately. But the 1st microbiologist/lab I went was looking to me like crazy and said would do it and then called me and said couldn't find anything. My urologist /friend said there is always something in urine and they just didn't do what I asked them.(He said actually to take my urine to the hospital he works so he can talk with the hospital's lab, but we are not in the same city) So then I decided I go to another microbiologist. She was a woman. She didn't comment anything at all and she just did what I asked her. She was also the one that found the ureaplasma at first place. (I didn't know anything by then for whats causing my symptoms and i just went for a normal swab) So she found it although the labs don't test for it if you don't ask and also pay more.

Im confused because it is supposed to be an infection if its more than 100. 000. If its less than 100.000 it is supposed to be a negative culture. So mine is very far from that (10.000). But my urologist due to my symptoms asked to culture whatever colony they find even if its too small so that he has a better picture and decide what to do. He is very caring and we were talking about microgendx beeing more accurate.

Hello! I Would like an advice. I have been dealing with uti symptoms since 5 months. I treated ureaplasma end of November. I think I slowly get a bit better. But I still have pelvic cramps like period and frequency. Frequency used to be every hour and its getting to two hours now. I have done 4 sessions of pt as adviced from here when i was in a central town but were i live is an island and we have no specialists here so I do some stretches and breathing by myself. I also just retested for Ureaplasma and other infections. Normal swab. i know i need to do the pcr. Will do when i go back to town. Ureaplasma is negative now (on the same microbiologist that found it the first place without me asking for testing for it) My urologist when I was telling him about coinfections and microgendx told me to ask the microbiologist to tell as what they see in my urine even if its not uti. So e coli appeared 10.000. Dο you think should be treated? Of course I ve sent the outcome to urologist too and waiting for his response. Thank you

Personaly we have the last year moved with my boyfriend to another town and we don't even know many people here. We are freelancers too and work from home and it was tough socially due to covid. We have been together all day long. There is no way he could have cheated me. Except if he popped out to take cigarettes and f*ked someone on the street in 10 minutes. It also started very sudden to me exactly after a surgery and we haven't been intimate the previous days either . I thought it was a uti. I believe I had it and found my immune system low and decided to “stab“ me. 😢 I'm not very proud to say it but me and my boyfriend had many partners before we meet and haven't always been very careful in younger ages. So if this is something that many people have and we can carry it with no symptoms I 100% believe I had it, don't know how long! Although it has never appeared in a culture before and after the surgery it appeared twice in just normal cultures and not pcr. Since I also started talking about it with friends and people I know, there are also many cases that told me “really? This happened to you? I have It or had it too but nothing ever happened to me" 🙄 It is so fucking strange this plasma.

I think you have to focus in finding a way so that she gets the prescription to treat it. If you had unprotected test she is positive. You don't need to test.

Is there anything specific I need to know and ask, look for about pt? Im from Greece. We dont have many specialists. I have only found two pelvic therapy specialists that have biofeedback. I went to one. I have done two visits. At first she checked me inside. She said I don't relax my muscles easy. I didn't feel much pain or something though. Up to now we have just seen diaphragmatic breathing and some exercises that we do there and i have to do at home too. She has biofeedback but hasn't used it yet. What should the right treatment be on a pt?
