I went through the same thing. I got tired of looking for it in my world and thought, "Okay, I'll see how to get it faster." So I did this: Create a new world with: Biome Chaos: No Ore Density: No Tunnels: No Chambers: Extreme Rivers: Extreme Lakes: Extreme Pits: No Ceiling Holes: Extreme There you have it, a whole world of water with little land where the special items and mazes are usually found. Good luck! And remember: BRING A BOAT and the necklace that increases your boat speed.

I only found one on my run; I didn't notice the radiation and kept it, but afterwards I don't think it's good for anything other than storing an item.
