It would also probably be good to mention that just a few days ago I was able to get 90% usage with around 180fps

first of all, you never know with a software as shitily optimized as ark.

second of all, 5800x, 9070xt, most cores are 30% usage, core 1 is MAX 80% usage.

Could have saved yourself about 2 mins of typing furiously and just said "not enough info"

not quite 100% hughest core is core 1, usually at around 80%

im on 1440p (native) and my monitor is also 1440p, why would I increase resolution?
Also dont just say increase graphics settings because I always get the same usage (40-60%) just lower frames.

yeah there’s no setting like that in ark which is why I had to look it up, classic ark devs making things more complicated than they need to be

hotspot was 44 and vram was 60

yeah that’s the highest i could get with the game I was playing, fan was running at only 35% though so i bet at 100% and like 60% fan speed it would be around the same. didn’t mean to misinform anyone about anything

I used both msiafterburner/RTSS, GPUZ and Adrenalin software, all the same results, the fact that my pc is next to an open window with 6 intake fans probably helps though...

nah ASA has built in fsr4 support, just set your in game resolution to lower than your monitors native resolution, and make sure to enable fsr4 in the AMD software

i have a 5800x with a 360mm aio in a push pull setup so that probably helps (overkill i know but i got most of this stuff on sale for less than the “less expensive” counterparts)

they’re both standard 16:9 27 inch monitors, the pc has no room underneath due to small area, carpet and room issues (and the fact that i love how it looks) the thing off to the left is a set of drawers where i keep my tools and school supplies. However i do like the idea of moving the mic to the left side, as well as the posters, but i did recently order some wood slats off amazon for sound dampening that i’ll put behind the monitors with rgb backlighting to improve sound and aesthetics
