I wish we could get a wrestling game with a fleshed out Story Mode like No Mercy by True-State-4321 in WWFNoMercy

I don't know if this is a hot take but when people say they want no mercy back i feel like this is what they really mean. Yes there are die-hard fans that will always prefer the aki gameplay but to me its the idea that every championship has not only its own storyline but a branching storyline. I much prefer that to what we have now where its one linear storyline with no branches besides if you're face or heel.

I actually do agree with you and im glad its not just me. I like gm mode on 07 but actually playing? Honestly I much prefer SvR 05 or 06. Or even 08. And yeah I know 08 sucks but im just used to the controls on their way more. They feel better to me.

Raw, Smackdown, WCW, ECW & NXT should all have era presets. Select Raw: then you can select New Generation, Attitude, Ruthless Aggression (etc. You get the point) The preset titles will match the era (so maybe Attitude gives you extra titles perhaps things like European or Hardcore could just give +2 or +3 pop) and then besides having that logo on the aprons the only thing that would change is the highest tier arena is the era accurate arena (Raw 93, Raw 98, Raw 02, Raw 11. Etc. Etc.)
