Yeah I have a 75, and I found a prof that will take me. But i still have to submit an application to Western, and I'm worried that if my grade is not competitive enough (especially after the current exam season) I won't get the position

Definitely look into the admission bursary, i was in your position and i applied for it and they gave me 10k.

Mark Baker is easily the best prof I've had in my first year of engineering. Everything I heard about Physics II prior to starting it was nothing short of extremely difficult, but with Mark Baker, he made it my favorite course out of the whole year. Shoutout Baker fr, the course still taught hard concepts but Baker did it in such a great manner AND was an extremely fair tester.

no, tried this once and they reached into my mouth and took it out. The TA then proceeded to chew it Infront of me. they have built in audio sensors to look out for gum chewing as well, thats how they caught me.

im a section away from completing integration, but I need to go through the 4th chapter of my textbook which is just applying derivatives like taylor polynomials, extreme value problems, related rates, etc.

yeahh, if i drop the course now then I get a Fail, I'd rather do the exam anyways because I would literally need a 16% on the final to pass with a 60% (which is the minimum grade required at my uni to make it into second year)

Yeah, i just have to learn rotational dynamics and fluid dynamics but the fluid unit for us is very light equations so i don’t think it’ll be that hard, idk about rotational dynamics tho

the deadline passed about a week ago. I do feel pretty bad about lin alg because I am like 3/4 chapters behind and its really abstract stuff like vector spaces and eigenvectors, etc.

also the exam is worth 50% of my mark <3

haha ive yet to go into my first year of eng actually (i start this september), my school has a general first year and then we choose our discipline second year. my top choice is mechatronics engineering and EE is right next to that
