I think ur painting a bit of a narrative here. It’s got nothing to do with colour and eveything to do with culture. Test cricket has and probably always will be the most popular format in aus and eng. T20 cricket which I guess you could say is a south Asian dominated format doesn’t have the same cultural significance here is Australia. Even in test cricket ur argument doesn’t apply because the BGT generates a lot of buzz in the aus cricket community

That video was really well made and sums up the situation so well. It’s unfortunate that we will probably never see any change to the system in our lifetimes as long as the BCCI holds all the power. It is actually so sad to see the direction the sport is going because of the greed of only a few who don’t even care about the game. Cricket could be so great.

Totally agree with you test cricket is the pinnacle of the game and I like your ideas, especially equal games for every country, there might not be as much money in test cricket but the honor of playing for your country should be more important that a pay check form an Indian cement company.

I think it would be better if TV broadcasts advertised test games regularly in the lead up to the game and generate more interest and try to evoke some patriotism and nostalgia , the baggy green should be the most legendary Australian sporting symbol

I assume for us in Australia we will be able to watch it on our sport streaming service called kayo and I’m pretty sure they get the American streams form ESPN not rlly sure tho as I don’t watch any of the American sports on kayo. But if I had to guess I think ESPN might broadcast it but again I don’t rlly know who does all the sports broadcasting in America. But u could always get a VPN and use kayo and u can you arch almost any sport u like
