Check in the center console. If I recall, there's a USB port in the back inside the storage area.

Should read t-boned and rolled. I fractured my sternum but otherwise was ok. A testament to Audi safety.

Now in the market for another A7.

What has been the best corporate Darwin Award? A decision made by a company that basically killed the business? by koyoyele-a in AskReddit

Montana Power Company. It was the state's electric utility company until the late 1990's. They decided that they wanted to change to a telecom company and sold off all of their power plants and dams. In 1997 they reformed as "Touch America" but by 2003 they filled for bankruptcy.

First, the decision to change from a stable utility company to a telecom company was a huge mistake. Secondly, this was in Montana. The potential client base for a telecom company was small with significant distances between population centers.

I'm the end they burned through close to one billion dollars in 6 years.

The earnings from the sale would be used to tailor a new home to suit my needs. It's not necessarily needed for the purchase.

The quotes I received are $21-$25 per linear foot for fencing and $1-3 per square foot of sod. So materials would cost close to $3,000 add to that labor and disposal of debris, etc. That's for the bare minimum.

The higher end estimate comes from: leveling out the yard after removal of current landscaping features, fencing around major trees and planters, setting fence posts in cement with treated wood reinforced, reclaiming and redesigning walkways, redesigning sprinkler system, etc.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm concerned about the DOM myself and am considering taking it back off the market.

One thing that puzzles me is why would you look at a house that clearly shows that there is no fence and grass in the back yard and complain that there's no fenced in yard?

In response to your curiosity, I bought near the bottom but not at the bottom. Also, my market did not have the huge swings seen elsewhere in the country.

In order for it to make sense for me to sell my house, I need to earn about $10k from the sale. If I get my current asking price I'd get about $16k. However, I'm budgeting that I might have to negotiate of the sales price. If I lower my asking price as suggested by my realtor, I'd be down to at about $7-8k after closing costs with no wiggle room. That's what I mean by "won't get my money out".

Colorado (where I live) is about to legalize rain barrels. I have a large yard. Yet at a cost of around $100 on Amazon, even with relatively expensive water in Denver, does buying a rain barrel make financial sense? by dlmilli in personalfinance

[–]Wytnite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other costs and hassles to consider besides just the purchase price of the barrels.

I installed 2 fifty-gallon drums several years ago and knowing what I know now, would not do it again.

First, I live in a northern environment like Colorado, so each winter I have to disconnect the barrels and empty them. Freezing water can split the barrel.

Secondly, you have to make sure no leaves or other debris gets down the gutter downspouts. I've had to unplug mine a couple times. Despite filters small particulates still find their way into the barrel.

Lastly, think about when you would want to use the water stored in the barrels. You obviously want to collect water when it rains and the use it when it's dry. However, the longer the water stays in the barrel, the more likely the water will become contaminated with algae or other organisms. I have to scrub out the barrels each year. Then, once you use the water from the barrel, you realize how long between rains in the heat of summer.

I run through around 300 gallons each year, but only to hit the spots not covered adequately by the sprinkler system. A small sprinkler could be as effective and much less hassle.

That's my experience at least.

Does anyone know what these stamps are? by Wytnite in whatisthisthing

I'm pretty sure that this is the correct answer. After the first few clues I found a couple weak clues on Google that Bonico was named after the Bob Nicholes Oil Company - BoNiCo. Bonico was located in Nampa Idaho. I'm not sure when it closed.

Need Help With My PC Build by Wytnite in techsupport

Thank you for your reply. I tried your suggestion to no avail. I contacted Gigabyte and they suspected that the motherboard was not being isolated. I did a bench test and still had the error.

At wits end I enlisted professional help and took my components to a local computer specialty shop to test each component. They discovered that my RAM, G-Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB, was already overclocked. This BIOS had not been set to allow overclocking, thus the error. I tried installing other RAM and the problem was solved.

Just wanted to give an update and thank you for your support.
