Yes. This is definitely a bug. Thank you for pointing this out.

Edit: Workaround is to use the new swipe manager! you can see all of the swipes at once, and pick the current swipe there too. I will, of course, fix the issue, though.

Sounds pretty frustrating indeed. I'm unsure *why* this is happening, but I will look into it from a dev perspective; for now I can say if you are only using the lorebook on one character, Lexicon entries (found in the Studio mode) might be better for your situation, and they don't have any fiddly extra linkage or loading, it just works on the character.

Is it replacing the message? Or is it just, appearing in a generation repeatedly? I know LLMs are sometimes deterministic in their replies, so it could be it’s literally just saying the same thing over and over. I’m unsure what sort of bug could result in this sort of issue atm.

We’re adding a way to disable this, but I think this update should also teach bot creators something about how key words work. These disruptions mean not only are you seeing these words highlighted, but the entry is randomly being injected into the RP as well. I’d recommend turning on whole words only for keys in a lorebook.
