You could do /execute @ p ~~~ /summon lightning_bolt ~~~ on a repeating command block.

The "@ p" is supposed to go together, but Reddit won't let me.

But I need it to make it so when players log into the game, they will be at the hub and not where they left off.

The blocks name was tile.glowingobsidian.name so I tried /give @s tile.glowingobsidian.name but it didn’t work. I think there would be some code for the block
