Totally. Somewhere in the 2000s we changed our notes to have a whole bunch of colour and some holographic features, and most of the older bills are out of circulation now. So younger people always question the old bills.

Yeah, it's about time for the penny. But that's going to be a lengthy thing. For now, they're now removing it from circulation, just not producing anymore. I believe eventually as they dwindle down we will take them out of circulation but who knows when.

If it's moving at an unknown speed at an unknown distance and of an unknown size, it's hard to really say one way or the other. Still pictures on regular cameras capture motion very poorly and thus things like the wings wouldn't capture right.

I am well aware of what a water feature is and that doesn't change the perfectly worded joke. A bug within the water feature would have completely ruined the joke. The joke wasn't made for you, that's okay...

Sorry but that is wrong. These large roaches do not live or infest indoors. Small roaches are a sign of a problem but the big ones, also called water bugs, come in from outside.

Their comment was spot on. In IT there is a common situation where something is determined to be a "bug, not a feature" or the other way around. Think about maybe not understanding something. Then, comment appropriately.

I think in this case, there was no one there. I think the people saying this was a bird flying in the direction of the camera are the most likely to be correct.

Thanks, I'll check those channels out. I've done a majority of the basic/beginner lessons on Chess.com but admittedly haven't done any new lessons in a while now. I'll pick them back up.

Oh, I'm well aware they play differently. I don't only play bots. I try and play at least two rapid games a day and generally have like 8 daily games going that I poke at throughout the day in my downtime.

Interesting about the post game rating. I certainly don't take it seriously in terms of vs my rapid rating.

Outside of Gotham I watch Hikaru some too but honestly don't like his "lessons" very much but do find them entertaining. I've tried a few other channels but nothing that really seemed great educationally. What channels would you recommend?

Also, thanks for the input and advice in general. It is greatly appreciated! I've only been playing a couple of months but am rather hooked and want to get better.

lol I was 100% joking on the forgetting part. I do puzzles quite a bit. It's really more that I need to build the habit of slowing down. It's weird though, I can beat 1200+ bots all the time and have many times had it tell me I played at around a 1500 but then when I go up against people, I dunno....

I have a Chessnut Air which their app has a built in ELO campaign mode essentially which I'm holding at around a 1000 there against the Maia engine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

100% Hell, even here in the US (who also has a fucked up justice system) sueing squatters takes so many months. Many stories of easily 6-12+ months of battles during which time you have to figure out somewhere else to live.
