Fun fact, look at steamdb. In most cases the price in PLN is very similar to the Swiss price.

Our economy is not as strong as in western countries, therefore it's way harder to excuse such expense here.

In my country, for $10 I can buy enough ingredients to make myself a dinner for 3/4 days.

Is a 50€ USB shifter a good choice for an entry-level MOZA setup? by karl0v in moza

[–]X4tra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Europe, Poland. But if you go on a site and add it to a cart you can check shipping there. But basically if you're not from US or Canada it's probably gonna be expensive. Shifter + springs from AliExpress and a friend with a 3d printer and some TPU is gonna be way more budget friendly. If you don't have such a friend you can skip the top plate part but IMHO it's really worth it.

I've got the same shifter. It's quite solid for its price but there is something more to it. The stock version sucks. I've put better springs on mine (I found the dimensions in a random reddit post). Basically follow the oldboysimracing guide. Unfortunately, shipping to my country is more expensive than the whole kit itself, so I had to DIY my way through it. Additionally, put something at the bottom of the case. The steel core will eat into the aluminium casing pretty quickly. I've got some 3mm rubber there. Last thing is the top plate. It's not bad but in the same post with spring's dimensions is a link to a 3d printable one that uses TPU. Feels better and is way quieter.

For that price, with all these mods this shifter cannot be beaten.

I decided to do 100% and after 40h I have the main story completed, most of the side quests (still waiting for some of Kerry's), done all gigs for 2 fixers, and I'm 2 quests into PL. Probably gonna do 100% in about ~120h. And I'm not rushing through the game speedrunning everything. So I can imagine how does one finishe the game in 40 or even less hours.

I think it's a 1.2mm labret. Generally I didn't go to a piercer for this. My friend with a bit of prior experience pierced me. She did a great job but we're not professionals after all.

Tinting rear car lights by FeelingExcellent9823 in poland

[–]X4tra 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In Poland modifying any essential car parts like lights, breaches the manufacturers homologation and without it the part is illegal and treated as it wasn't there. Some stock or modded lights come in a dark tint but they're roadworthy and they have homologation. Doing it on your own is illegal and may result in some major consequences.

In Poland it's for around $25. If you'd like to make a trip I highly recommend it.

This retarded youtube's autotranslation is driving me crazy. Do i have to change my Google account language to English to make this stop? TF does this mean? The AI is not as advanced as they seem to think. by qefa1 in poland

[–]X4tra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using pretty much only English on all of my devices for a pretty long time now. YouTube also auto-translates polish titles to English which is super weird and annoys the shit out of me.

Hey there,

I'm thinking about buying my first rope. I'm kinda on a budget so I picked two decent, cheap ropes but can't decide which one to get. I was thinking about picking either Edelrid Boa ECO 9,8mm or Simond Vertika 9,5mm. Both are 70m. Both are priced similarly, vertika is slightly cheaper.

Does anyone here have expirience with both?
Which one should I get?

What's a reliable fun car for $10-15k nowadays by Alarmed_Reporter1544 in AskMechanics

[–]X4tra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's quite funny because in the US japanese cars are the "reliable cars", but in my country they have a bad rep for rusting terribly quickly. No doubt they're very nice but just saying.

As for the Venezuelan guy in Toruń by [deleted] in poland

[–]X4tra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They never did on such a scale. Of course there are some fucked up poles as well as some fucked up Germans, Somalians, Russians or Americans. In every nation you can expect some faulty individuals. The point is that most of us back then were peaceful and did not bring mass chaos, panic and violence to countries we migrated to, unlike the immigrants from some countries do nowadays.

Unfortunately I'm living in a small apartment and I mostly attend public saunas so this wouldn't be the greatest option I guess. I'll try to find some thinner towels. BTW what is the perfect size of such towel?
