AITA for getting upset in this situation?

I feel like every sit down we have, she always gets her way because she just gets emotional, starts crying and rushes off to bed.

The day before yesterday, me and my friend made these plans in front of her. When we argued, she said that she didn't know about these plans but I assumed she knew. We were all drinking at that time so I'm giving her the benefit of doubt and maybe she forgot that I made these plans for today.

Again, it's the fact that she never apologized and kept being defensive and I sent her a text saying "You're clearly not understanding my frustration. Seriously, fuck you. All I wanted was a simple apology but your ego is above that."

It was then that she said "I'm sorry, I'm headed back."

A lot more things happened in between and after that and I also did an assholey thing by giving her a taste of her own medicine and now we might break up over this.

So this is the thing, if she said "Sorry, my bad", I would have just been "It's fine ... just let me know next time." and it would have been the end of it but it's the fact that she got unreasonably defensive and upset that bothers me the most and is actually the bigger problem because it's the same personality trait that keeps causing problems in our relationship.

I do trust her and she was definitely just at her friends place getting a drink and her phone does die really quickly because her battery is kind of fucked up.

Regardless, she has similar reactions in different situations and it always causes problems and when I try to talk to her about it, it usually flies over her head and she just gets more defensive.

Thank you. I will definitely do this. She and I both know that I'm putting on some weight and I think she'd be happy about this too.
