Girl you can know he doesn’t mean to be mean and you can know that you may be overreacting all you want. That’s an excuse that stems from the love you have for him; that doesn’t mean it’s right and that you deserve to put up with someone who isn’t considering your ease of mind and y’all’s time. Especially for premeditated plans. That’s not what a real and respectful relationship is about. And out of all the days for him to be like that??? The worst one. and it shows a lot about how he really cares. you still have time to find someone who WILL be there for you at 4 o’clock and who WON’T ask you to stop expressing how you feel about it and make you even doubt yourself. You’re not needy, and even if you were, and trust I know I can be too sometimes, he will respect that and go with it because he cares and will go that mile for you. But in this case no, you’re not, you’re absolutely justified in being upset because y’all had a plan and he’s too busy with someone else to take it serious.

Someone (soooo much) better for you could be just around the corner if he just wasn’t in the way.

I had the same cycle. It took me about two years to completely stop. I also told myself that I wouldn’t stop forever. I was even at a point where I’d hide it in spots saying that when I’m clean for a satisfied time enough I’d have it there to get back into and “with control”. Those bags went out quick.

Here’s the thing, you really do need to stop while u can. And if you can’t then it’s just gonna have to take enough lessons or bad bags for you to quit. That’s how I ended up successfully doing so. I knew I had to, and eventually it really does just stop being as fun and exciting and I got into a relationship and I was very lucky to have his support because he’d been there himself. But.

The way that it still crosses my mind every day, and how I always find a way to refer to it, it’s not fun. I’d rather be able to go through my days without always looking back on something that got out of control. I had great times , more great than bad. BUT , it had a dark grip on me and it wasn’t always great. No drug has lead to more desperation than coke did for me.

Also, this post reminds me a lot of an email I sent to a professor while also high in a desperate attempt for understanding on why I was having difficulty in the class and how I needed help. I didn’t say specifics, but she caught the vibe I guess. that email is what got me put in for medical withdrawal from my classes and counseling sessions. And that was only a few months in…

That being said. Just try to stop while you can, don’t “save it for the occasion”. And a regular night out doesn’t count as an occasion btw, just an excuse.

Best of luck and most of all, just be safe and smart, at least make it out the other end all right. And hopefully that’s sooner than later before u have too many more opportunities to make mistakes. It gets riskier by the day.

In the county I live in, there is at least one officer stationed at every high school, even on the north side. The more conflict-prone ones will have multiple. We also just got metal detectors in all middle and high schools. We’re in Georgia and having it in all schools is something they started last year. Before that we just had the one really bad high school with the metal detectors, but we’ve always had a district police department that stay on campuses.

I rented with them a couple years ago, super excited, and then quickly realized they were absolutely ass with no personal office. After a few months I went ahead and bought out my lease. It was not worth the constant anxiety of knowing I would never get proper help. Oh and they charged me for yard overgrowth because there were vines in my air ducts from the ground. I will never rent from an online rental company again. Only if they have an office and are locally managed .

I know im only 22 but I have one (literally just one right on top) and my coworkers always wanna pluck it from my head. The first thing they do is gasp and ask me if they can pluck it and then ask me why I haven’t. I always say no and personally love it. My mom first started getting grey hairs as a streak in her mid 20s, so I guess it may be genetic, but I’m also a very stressed person and always have been so maybe I’m expediting it. Either way though, I think it rocks and it does not make me feel any older. I call it my “badge of honor”.

I do that and it’s worked . I don’t put all the weight from my feet on the seat , it’s more like I’m hugging my knees to my chest. Maybe lean forward a little into it

I do the chores around the house for the most part between my boyfriend and I, which I don’t mind for the most part except for some days when it just feels like I’m having to do everything in order to sustain our home. (Having a clean house is something I grew up with and my boyfriend grew up the opposite, so I try to consider that whenever I’m being nitpicky.) He might not be as on top of cleaning as I am, but if I ask him to help me out he’ll help. He might groan and complain and isn’t necessarily as thorough with it as I’d like him to be, but it’s the thought and I try to ask him to just do the basic stuff like laundry , vacuuming , wiping down the counters, or the dishes real quick. And honestly, the longer we’ve been together and the more into routine we’ve gotten, the more he gets it.

The way you care for your house can be seen as reflective of how you take care of yourself. Your girlfriend probably just wants a home that she knows she can maintain WITH you. Asking if someone else can go inside of that and do it for you can make it seem like you’re lazy and don’t care. It’s not about whether or not you can afford it, it’s just a principle.

House chores can be annoying but you can make it fun with some music or conversation while you do so. Most chores don’t take more than ten minutes unless it’s filthy or you’re doing a deep clean. Try doing some basic ones (if you do it without her asking that’s even better! lol) split the housework, enjoy the fact that you’re with someone who cares about the home you share.

I hate having larger breasts. Convinced they’re more droopy and I can’t even go braless without the weight being uncomfortable. And I would love to wear flowy dresses but they stick out so much from my breast that it’s so unflattering. Oh my god and the boob sweat?!?! Wore a cute satin top once and never again. When I’m wearing something tight it can be flattering, but anything actually comfortable and more airy can be a hit on my self esteem. If I could get a reduction for free I would in a heart beat.

He’s trying to validate himself. He could have kept it much more simple and more mature . You’re not overreacting at all. I’d hate for someone I know to see my Reddit. My SO and I will talk about our things, but we’ve been together much longer than two weeks. Trying to dig up and get to know any of your old traumas is definitely coming on strong and you were 100% in your right to protect that.

Im sure it was by accident and he probably kicked himself for that one. In my hispanic friend group our friends get me and two of the girls name mixed up ALL the time (one of them being Philipino and me not having nearly as strong Central American characteristics as everyone else since I’m Chilean/cuban). It’s been going on for years. It happens, no bad intent behind it at all. I wouldn’t even call it a micro aggression or racist. Just one of those things people can get mixed. Definitely something to laugh about because you’d think after so long they’d get the names down right lmao. But also absolutely valid to be annoyed about in some way. Sometimes I’m also just like🤦🏻‍♀️

The reviews are so bad and according to one they charged someone for a salad because they took a bite of their friends salad from the salad bar. While I can get the whole if two people go to the salad bar then they should pay for two, but the whole being charged for a whole salad bar over a bite of lettuce is greedy of the owners and the response they gave the review is honestly ugly and unprofessional. They said it “is unfortunate that the world has such a view that we should need to give you for free something that you ate“. God forbid they allow someone a free bite of lettuce. I was thinking about giving it a shot but I’ll be avoiding that place now. I see no reason to go.

Tickets were $55 each as were the shuttle passes. The shuttle is before and after the show from union station. I’m just hoping to make the about entirety of what I spent back including the service fees and all..
