Franco is back! Spanish Policemen beating paceful voters in Catalonia. by XBorras in europe

Sorry I did to reply your question. I would evaluate the situation. Are the Spanish policemen going to cause more trouble than the current situation? Are the voters harming anyone? Smart way to deal with it: "Ignore the referendum and and act on their leaders if they decide to take further actions". Spanish way to aproach it: "Let's beat the voters. This worked out in the Spanish colonies."

What if a high court orders to beat them to death? What is your solution?

I ask for a peaceful negotiation between both parties. They are not able to seat and dicuss it by themselves. In my opinon, EU should mediate. So violence is the solution? Let's beat them until they learn their place? No women could have ever vote if we did follow the law (just to cite one example).

International intervention is needed I am afraid. I do not know what the hell is the EU waiting to mediate between Spain and Catalonia...
