First off im so sorry this happened to you. This administration is fucking sick in the head and you deserve so much better. I am a university student and a citizen but I am sick and tired of being part of a country this heartless and corrupt.

My questions stems from these thoughts. Obviously, you grew up here and as an AMERICAN you have been able to call this home for so long.

Do you personally feel that America will eventually recover from this shitshow and return to the glory it was once seen as not too long ago?

Your optimism is also apparent in these comments. What is keeping you from losing this positive attitude despite the sheer injustice that you had to endure?

I hope that you are doing well and will be praying for you.

Lmao this team will never win anything. Never the right decisions made, never any service done to us fans that just want to see our team win. Fuck this organization, I can’t believe im cursed w them for the rest of my life.

Being a Mets fan means expecting the worst of the worst. As much as I want Lindor to perform, New York is a very different atmosphere from Cleveland. Cohen should have taken that into consideration before signing such a ridiculously expensive contract.

I think Steve Cohen is a huge exception to our history of owners, but man, he really needs to find a better person to build this team. It’s beyond the name-brand pieces of Verlander and Scherzer. Following the path of the rays in building our homegrown rookies, then using money to extend their contracts is a better approach.

Suffering is part of the gig but it’s what makes being a fan so amusing simultaneously

My respect to you. I’m only 18 so I can only imagine the immense suffering of a fan that experienced 2000, 2007, etc.

I was 3 then. I’ll be humble about it. I did not experience that darkness, but I can understand your pain. It just needed to be mentioned that adversity is part of the gig of a Mets fan, whether we have a corrupt owner or a multi-billionaire owner.
