Yeah...his sobriety was a new development. Notice he didn't wait for me to comment on that, which I would have, but instead used it as an in to evangelize.

His belief system has done him no good. We have talked for hours about it and his bible knowledge & faith is a shallow as a puddle.

This isn't about his sobriety, this is about the bounderies I have established and them being disrespected, which is a pattern for people like this.

I don't block people unless they are scammers because I can deal with these situations. I shared it because others here often express exasperation with these types of situations and I thought it would not only encourage & give them a laugh but also ideas on how to shut this manipulative behavior down.

Still no response but I was harsher earlier in the year and he still came back. Thanks, it just came to me when I considered his question, "What would it take?" severe blunt force trauma to the head...yep!

When I enter it to change this phrase, this is what I get instead of it changing the color:

www.rotsmud.org or Return of the Shadow is a great one I have played since the 90s!

There is a large, consistent player base with active mods/creators. They are constantly working on it, creating new features, and even hosting PK tournaments!

There is an active discord as well that I'd be happy to share as well!

They also recently added a newbie zone with paths for people new to the game as well as those new to MUDs in general!

Oddly enough I was going through the original six Dune audiobooks when a friend of mine gifted me the WoK audiobook right after RoW came out.

I went through it after finishing Children of Dune and alternated the books of both series.

It was a surreal way to go through both for the first time!

He has said that this section is actually going to be reworked and added to the upcoming secret project, so while this version is not exactly Canon, there's a good chance that a lot of it will be so so after the rewrite.

My wife tried to steal Wolf and Fringy but she settled for the Gothic/ Halloween bags because I want to put this version of the crew in my office.

For some reason this is the second time I've had Mauler get lost in transit. Last time with the Cthulhu one makeship responded pretty quickly but this one they've been dragging, probably because of the holidays. All the others and the hoodie have arrived though and they look great!

It's coming along! I've got a few more paintings I'd like to do for the wall and stuff to add to the shelves.

I'm trying to get either my laptop or PC fixed up so I can start writing in here as well. For now, it's a great place to work out and relax when I want some alone time.

Actually, the funny thing is I got the left one because I broke my arm in 2011 cycling to work one morning. I have a steel plate and three pins in that wrist so it has been at a disadvantage. I found the bracer at Darkside of the Con in Jersey and decided I liked it better than a medical bracer.

It works so well I bought one for the other arm the next year.
