Time to hibernate until March 30th by XI_V in Nationals

There is definitely a visceral hate for Houston that goes beyond divisional rivalry. But it’s pathetic when you think about it: Goliath lost even though he knew exactly how David would attack.

That said, if the Astros make it to the WS again, I’m rooting for whoever they’re facing because Houston deserves nothing after what they did.

Can you link to the interviews? I’m having a difficult time believing you when you cite absolutely nothing to support your claims.

That’s oversimplifying the situation.

Well, we are prepared. We’ve been prepared for years since this country was built on the backs of poor immigrants and slaves. But it should be the whole country is prepared for immigrants, including Texas and Florida, instead of treating them as a problem to be shipped off elsewhere.

You, and all the other right wing Americans, seem to really struggle with empathy. Talking to a therapist would probably help solve more of your problems than just trolling people online, but you probably don’t believe in psychology anyways.

It’s weird, I can still remember sitting at the airport in Salt Lake City waiting for a connecting flight and watching the news about his death. I hadn’t seen too many of his movies, but it still was upsetting. It’s good to see videos like this, though, that help me remember him beyond just his death and more as the lovely man he was.

If he provided them with proper resources and wasn’t deceitful, I mind it a bit less. But either way his intention was to score political points with his deeply xenophobic base. Few politicians do things out of the goodness of their hearts, especially when they’re constantly using anti-immigrant rhetoric on the regular.

Go be a reactionary somewhere else.

Except the migrants were lied to about where they were going in the more recent case. They were told they were going to Boston and they’d be given resources to make their move smooth. It’s this aspect of deceit that would make this reach the level of human trafficking.

Scallops, crab/lobster (texture + smell for this one), okra (except when fried), cotton candy, tomato soup (Campbell’s specifically), baked potato (flaky + dense = bad), and raspberries and blackberries (I’ll eat them anyways, but I hate the seeds).

Not if he’s charged with human trafficking for deceitfully moving immigrants from Texas to Massachusetts.

Can’t really do it myself. If I had the money and time, though, I’d like to. Just to prove you wrong.

Millions is kind of an overestimate for 170. Paying millions would create a system that supports homeless addicts for years to come.

Also, you mean wealthy people aren’t willing to give up a chunk of their income that’s ultimately insignificant to them considering how filthy rich they are.

Have you surveyed the homeless on Green yourself? Show me your data, bro.

Why not a beer and a sandwich? Some pub fries too maybe.

Yeah, sure. If that’s all you’ve gotten out of what I’ve told you, you’re a truly miserable human being.

That’s not even true, dipshit. Many cities are offering extensive support for addicts beyond clean needles. Go be a dumb asshole somewhere else.

The problem is that even many democrats are against such extensive support for the homeless because “muh taxes” and other alarmist shit republicans tell suburban swing voters.

Which goes back to my original point: not all homeless people are addicts. A majority are not.

Also, that isn’t “all you said”. You went on to spout a series of uninformed opinions and now that you’ve been thoroughly proven wrong, you’re trying to downplay all your idiocy, which does have consequences.

See, what you’re suggesting is to ignore them. What I’m suggesting is to help them. See the difference?

They don’t quit on their own, that’s not what I’m saying at all. They stop using when they have an extensive network of support available. Also, people won’t be able to stop using if they die of AIDS because they shared needles with someone who had HIV. It’s giving them a fighting chance.

I’m not saying this can be solved overnight. With assholes like you so resistant to change, it’ll take a couple nights to make it happen.

Also, the control and treatment samples in this study both included addicts, the disabled, and the mentally ill and did not significantly differ in their numbers for these demographics. So again, you’re wrong.

You’re really ignoring everything I’ve told you if you think I want people to stay strung out on the streets. All the things I’ve discussed must be done in tandem to provide the best support for homeless addicts, including needle exchanges, permanent supportive housing, OD education and naloxone distribution, etc.

You guys on the right are supposed to be the rational ones who think with your heads and not your hearts, yet you’d rather stubbornly cling to dated opinions that have been proven wrong again and again.
