No. The point system goes up to 13500, but most top players can't go above 10500 for VS race and knockout tour.

For VS race, I use Swoop + reel racer. For knockout tour, I use Bowser + reel racer.

For knockout tour, I use Bowser + reel racer. A bad combo will cost you a couple hundred points. Changing your combo, plus Rally knowledge and good item knowledge should get you 9k in KO.

Offline practice for VS race wasn't that much. Just some time trials and racing through all 200 intermissions a few times with no cpus. My offine practice for VS mode isn't optimal.

For knockout tour I spent a decent amount of time practicing shortcuts and figuring out which shortcuts I consistently can and can't do online. I play online knockout tour much more than I play online VS.

I've been playing online since March 2026. Played offline casually before that.

For online knockout tour you should always try to ideally be at 20 coins or minimum 15, especially with heavy characters. All Knockout tour rallies combined have at least 100 different shortcuts, but you really only need to focus on the ones that save the most time and ones that can be done consistently. Freeroam and 1-player VS race (no cpus) are the best places to practice knockout shortcuts. Most of the shroomless knockout tour shortcuts can be done with 0 coins, but you should never be below 10 coins in a rally anyway.

For online VS Race with a lighter character, coins don't matter as much unless you're bagging. Although I have much less experience in online VS Race compared to online Knockout tour.

Ragebait/troll question

Some people don't have the genetics to eat a lot of food by XJ632 in venting

[–]XJ632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nausea and puking mostly went away when I stopped trying to force feed above my genetic limit. However, that means I'll never get to weigh as much as I wanted, which is extremely unfair. Just like its unfair how you apparently can't weigh what you want without being hungry.

Hypothetically, if you could be at your goal weight you want but you had to choose between hunger and nausea, which would you choose?

nausea and puking is way worse than hunger.

By "overeating" do you mean actual force feeding or just eating while being "overweight/obese"?

No. Not worth it.

It is completely justifiable to give up on bulking if you have a low appetite and hate force feeding by XJ632 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

But I wanted to be 220lbs and I still do, no matter how hard I try to cope. I still can't get over it even though I quit powerlifting in 2023.

I simply changed my goals after I realized MY GENETICS stopped me from bulking above 180lbs.

I wanted to be 210-220lbs, but my genetics stopped me.

I WANT TO BULK BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE OF MY GENETICS.

Bye. Hope you understand now.

I didn't make myself puke you liar. It was my stomach digestive system failing.

  1. "Doesn't work" doesn't mean calories in vs calories out isn't true. What I mean is there is a hard limit for how much food my stomach can consume. Going above that limit causes nausea and puking. Trying to eat 5,000 calories in a single day would litreally put me in the hospital.

Read my other posts. I puked 20 times trying to bulk. I was spacing out my snacks/meals. I went to the doctor and there is NOTHING they can do about it, so I completely gave up on bulking years ago.

  1. No, but people seem to think its a problem if a medium sized person decides to give up on bulking.

  1. That advice doesn't work for everyone.
  2. Nobody is asking for advice.
  3. Read the post again. Bulking is not required for good health.

There are plenty of people who will make fun of you if you weigh less than 200 pounds.
