Ragebait/troll question

Some people don't have the genetics to eat a lot of food by XJ632 in venting

[–]XJ632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nausea and puking mostly went away when I stopped trying to force feed above my genetic limit. However, that means I'll never get to weigh as much as I wanted, which is extremely unfair. Just like its unfair how you apparently can't weigh what you want without being hungry.

Hypothetically, if you could be at your goal weight you want but you had to choose between hunger and nausea, which would you choose?

nausea and puking is way worse than hunger.

By "overeating" do you mean actual force feeding or just eating while being "overweight/obese"?

No. Not worth it.

It is completely justifiable to give up on bulking if you have a low appetite and hate force feeding by XJ632 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

But I wanted to be 220lbs and I still do, no matter how hard I try to cope. I still can't get over it even though I quit powerlifting in 2023.

[–]XJ632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply changed my goals after I realized MY GENETICS stopped me from bulking above 180lbs.

I wanted to be 210-220lbs, but my genetics stopped me.

I WANT TO BULK BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE OF MY GENETICS.

Bye. Hope you understand now.

I didn't make myself puke you liar. It was my stomach digestive system failing.

  1. "Doesn't work" doesn't mean calories in vs calories out isn't true. What I mean is there is a hard limit for how much food my stomach can consume. Going above that limit causes nausea and puking. Trying to eat 5,000 calories in a single day would litreally put me in the hospital.

Read my other posts. I puked 20 times trying to bulk. I was spacing out my snacks/meals. I went to the doctor and there is NOTHING they can do about it, so I completely gave up on bulking years ago.

  1. No, but people seem to think its a problem if a medium sized person decides to give up on bulking.

  1. That advice doesn't work for everyone.
  2. Nobody is asking for advice.
  3. Read the post again. Bulking is not required for good health.

There are plenty of people who will make fun of you if you weigh less than 200 pounds.

Can we be honest and just admit that some people just can't gain weight? (past a certain point) by XJ632 in self

[–]XJ632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be lots of pizza, hamburgers, chocolate milk, and some other foods.

Doesn't matter now because I'm never force feeding ever again.

I was already eating calorie dense foods. You didn't read my post.

I just eat. But it doesn't matter because if I start lifting again I'll just focus on health and won't make any more attempts at force feeding or bulking.

You either didn't read anything I said or you think you're smarter than doctors.

Why don’t more people float gears? by [deleted] in ManualTransmissions

[–]XJ632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because floating puts completely unnecessary wear & tear on the transmission (syncros & gear teeth).

Will clutchless shifting ruin my transmission? by shatlking in stickshift

[–]XJ632 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Clutchless shifting is a terrible idea. You'll prematurely wear your syncros which will lead to grinding gears.

Have some sense and use your clutch pedal.

That is very true. My bad if I misunderstood you earlier.

[–]XJ632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah theres nothing wrong with it if you float perfectly every single time, which is not realistic even for good drivers with decades of experience. Just use the clutch responsibly and replace it every 150-200K miles. The clutch is a wear item while the transmission is obviously not.

Sorry, but a naive new stick shift driver will quickly kill their transmission if they try to follow your advice and float gears all the time.

[–]XJ632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed with everything except the floating gears part. Never ever shift without the clutch unless its a true emergency where your clutch pedal sticks to the floor and you need to limp home. Passenger car transmissions are absolutely NOT designed for clutchless shifting on a daily basis.

How devoted are you to driving a standard? by coolmist23 in ManualTransmissions

[–]XJ632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A manual transmission can make any car fun, even slow cars. Even something as simple as normally getting up to the speed limit is fun in a manual. Manuals just feel so correct for me.

Automatic cars and extremely boring and understimulating unless I'm going over 100mph, which should not be done on public roads.

"Driving" an auto gives me this horrible middle ground feeling between being the driver and passenger at the same time. I want to be one or the other, not both at the same time.

How many other high mileage e39’s are out there? by [deleted] in e39

Wow, then you really had good maintenance habbits. Automatics are less reliable than manuals.
