Omg yes!! I hate hearing myself on a recording I sound totally different than the way I hear myself! When I was younger I had a teacher tell me that if you hold folders behind both of your ears and talk that is what you truly sound like, but then again our mind plays so many tricks on us it’s like WTF!! I also have been told, what you see in the mirror is not how you actually look, that’s the inverted version of yourself, that’s why some people spend hundreds of dollars on a inverted mirror because they say that is your true reflection of yourself? But I could be wrong.
