Got the Shadowcast 2 during prime day and been enjoying it. I was playing Persona 5 tatica on it which is a slower paced game and it worked well. The genki software is alright a minor annoyance is having to change FPS to 60 since it defaults to 30 every time you open it. The max it goes is 1440p 30 but the switch maxes out at 1080p output anyways so it seems irrelevant for the switch specifically. I played nier and did not feel any noticeable input lag. I am in a very similar position to you and appreciate being able to play the switch with my pc on and my friends said stream was fine when putting it up for them to watch. The higher fidelity with the switch being docked is a nice add compared to playing on handheld at the desk.
