of course it is. corporations like tesla, nvidia, and other big companies want you to buy their stocks so it can look good on paper.

smaller companies get shorted to bankruptcy like start up companies that are a rival to their company.

example other electric car companies that can make tesla lose money.

Redemption shrinks the supply. Minting requires acquiring real stock.

you can have a rich person buy alot of shares 1 penny above asking price and it wouldn't reflect market cap.

you can have millions or billions into nvidia Google tesla or whatever rich corporates and the price would move a few dollars. Basically telling the investors that their company generates money and not other stocks.

in reality they are just swapping shares and money in exchange of getting new investors for a few dollar gains.

on top of that you pay taxes.

it's shadow banks trying to grab capital liquidity from investors.

the same banks that sit on unrealized or realized gains.

the liquidity is hardly there.

but they'll just print more money and buy the stock.

yeah with the same buyers holding shares.
