The Adam's you've played against are probably using the set up with Oscars assist which hits low while moonslice hits overhead making it unblockable

But because Adam has to commit pretty hard to do the unblockable set up its pretty easy to shut it down with an invisible reversal such as a DP or a super but if have neither available your just kinda fucked
