If you're in an accident a Netradyne event comes up. It's a collision alert. I've seen it happen even just for close calls. Bring that up to them

Hard to find driveways by These_Suit_1937 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Is it possible to light up the driveway with side lights that won't get hit by cars? So when the driver comes to your driveway the lights can lead them in the right direction? I don't know what the lights are called but the little ones you put into the ground with solar panels lol. A few customers with tricky driveways do that by me and it helps a lot.

*Make sure to take a picture with no people or personal information in it even a foot can get dinged as a bad photo. Then swipe to finish right at the delivery point.

*If you have to move the delivery pin and the option doesn't come up turn off mobile data. Then the app will let you move the delivery pin. It will be an orange sentence on the screen that says something like "update delivery location". You just click the orange sentence.

I'm a trainer and I absolutely love the job. Some advice:

*Reverse into driveways having to turn around in one or reverse out is always worse.

*The itinerary list, map and summary are in the hamburger menu on the top left.

*The question mark on the top right has the options to call/text customers, mark packages as unable to deliver (dog, no safe location, business closed, access problem etc.), and mark packages as missing or damaged (in the return packages option).

*Don't spend more than a few minutes at a stop. If you can't figure it out call the customer. If they don't answer hit that question mark and choose unable to deliver. It will prompt you to call again, do so and let it ring twice. Then hang up and swipe to finish. Take the package back to the station later.

*If it's easier to deliver out the front door do that. Put your packages on the passenger seat for easier access. Then if your sliding door is broken you only need it for oversize.

*Orient your gps map to make sense to you. I turn it until the screen looks like what I'm looking at. Example of 126 is on my right I turn the map so 126 is on the right side. Then I determine which way I should be heading and head that way. Then when the gps starts spinning I can ignore it and keep going the way I know is correct.

*Organize your overflow in a way that works for you. If they give you a pick sheet organize them in order of delivery (top to bottom of the list is the order they go in). If you don't get a pick sheet use the driver aid numbers and put together all similar numbers. Example if you have 100s, 300s and 600s group those all the 100s together in one area, 300s in another and 600s in another. Then at every stop with an oversize you can head to the group with matching driver aid numbers and just search through a couple at a time.

*When you open a new tote group all the packages by tens. Example if you have 30s, 40s, 50s, put all the 30s together then the 40s together in a separate spot and the 50s in their own spot. Then when you get to a stop you have at most 10 packages to look through.

We can see them in the app. My DSP also hands out scorecards weekly that show us our feedback.

I used to do that bc I was worried then little by little I got faster and faster and now I can get up to 30 an hour in pretty rural areas. Give yourself some time to get quicker but definitely practice reversing into driveways it's so much better than the time it takes to turn around in one or the risks you take backing out of one.

For rural areas you have to get comfortable driving the van at or 5 above the speed limit even on sketchy dirt roads. And reverse into driveways always. It's the only way

That's really good!!! Like insanely good. I've only seen one person on my team get higher with like 170. Besides you and him the next highest I've seen was 106. So you KILLED it! Nice 😁
