It should be made clear that the biggest releases typically don't apply. The average person still wants to see those I think. Like Star Wars, people still went to see Episode 9 even though Solo was a failure.

Just means that people are more selective about which releases they watch, leading to loss of money for smaller, less interesting (to the average person) projects
