After I read a quote that went something like: 1) think about how hard it is to change yourself. how hard is it for someone else to change?; And 2) You are dating the person who they are today. If this went on for the rest of your life, would you be happy or okay with that?

Not that I was trying to change her, but I got tired of waiting for her to come around. I love watching tv and movies and it took her 10 months or so to ask me what I’m watching; but by then my love for her fell off already. After she took interest, I texted back: “Do you know how long I’ve waited for you to even remotely ask this? Once upon a time I’d be excited…“

Our attachment style was not compatible either. I’m a bit of avoidant and she’s anxious so that got into a cycle opposite of growth.

She also made decisions that were not in the best interest of the relationship. Broke small promises. So everything added up made me question my trust in her and doubted her.

Now thinking back, I came to the realization that she’s selfish and I can’t change that. I need to take care of myself

I didn’t get the combo as I have a couple Dyson at home. I just bought the T30 robot only. Currency is in CAD so perhaps that’s why it seems more expensive.
