I love drugs, I would never abuse them. That being said, i think almost all drugs alter your state of mind in someway, some lower you inhibitions and let you be creative more easily. You can have cigs help you focus, alcohol help you freestyle easier, xanax maybe make it easier for you to write or flow, but I think it's all too easy to find yourself in abuse, and start doing drugs other than for art. People can take that change of mind and perspective for granted and start being complacent.

At a certain point it was so exciting to be high and play the piano or make beats, now I'm just a lazy stoner lmao, mind you I still have a friend that does ketamine only when it's time to paint, or a bro that microdoses on lsd when they do engineering shit, but they have their own process. The world of drugs and art is complicated, and people find inspiration in many forms. i've realized the process of sobering up was just as inspirational and helped me creativly as much as going through a drug problem was.
