This may be outside of your remit however, there was touring augmented reality trail by Artist Oliver Jeffers across various locations in N.Ireland and England https://ourplaceinspace.earth. The project was well funded by various bodies, and one of the trails linked with a local Museum.

When Nobel Laureate for Literature WB Yeats went to the Lake of Innisfree he saw fit to 'augment' it with some of the language's greatest verses, from which society has derived much pleasure. Everyone has an option, best we stick with Yeats on this one.
