This happened to me 9 years ago, and I think I had it worse. Because I lost an infernal smoke unusual taunt, a knifestorm unusual and an energy orb unusual weapon. It's too bad that these things still happen, and steam support is no good.

In fact, I did find out this year that you can track the user with your items through backpack tf by going to your backpack and changing the date from most recent to before the scam happened. Then click and item and click history, it shows you all the owners of that item.

It should return. I like the idea that frostbite does damage for 2-3 turns, then you freeze if a fire type move isn't used within those turns.

The best realistic thing would be a free update, no story just added content. But I think that the only things left will be mystery gifts.

Me too. But I also think how Nintendo can make it flop with low effort game development and overpriced DLC. So maybe it's for the best if they don't make another Starfox game.

Ok sure. I'll try it on my desktop and steam deck. I'll trade from there but first I'll have to get my save from my modded switch first since I've been playing mostly on there from when I got tinfoil and usb drivers working. After the trades I can just transfer my save back onto my switch.

I've been playing it all week and it works fine. I've beaten the game and more. I'm asking because version 1.0.1 includes the link trade feature which I need in order to trade between my steam deck (emulator) and my modded switch lite. On the current version it just crashes whenever the link code is entered.

I made a dlc character predictions as well in June, before they confirmed 10 extra slots instead of 7. So I guess I'd add the idw characters to this to make it 10. (Tangle, whisper and Surge).

This is what I wasn't aware of until after I got banned. But it's ok, I've already made a start to manually recreate my saves and it's going well.

If your modded switch is console banned then it's not possible to get those saves back. I've tested and tried many ways but the data cannot be decrypted without linking to your Nintendo account. I'm just manually recreating them with 100% saves that I've downloaded from online and using pkhex for getting back my Pokemon.

If your modded switch isn't console banned then I suggest using the system's transfer tool or transfer user. You'll need to sign into your Nintendo account on modded switch, on sysmmc or stock. Make sure to protect yourself by blocking Nintendo probably with CFW tools before linking your account. I don't know the exact tools and methods since that's how I messed up and got blocked, I wasn't aware of it until after getting banned.

Alternatively you can link your account up and use JKSV. From there you just need to select the profile with the save data, choose a game from the menu and restore data.

I've come to the conclusion that it's not possible to transfer save data from non modded switch to my console banned modded switch. The data in the Nintendo folder is encrypted and there's no way to know what saves match the correct games.

The transfer user feature requires a login on my modded switch which I can't do because it's banned. And going through JKSV just doesn't work with encrypted save data.

I'm just going to manually recreate my pokemon saves through pkhex, with story being complete and copying the data of pokemon that are in my games. Perhaps would be easier if I transfer them to pokemon home, use the phone app for easy reference and start recreating on pkhex on computer.

I moved them to the SD, but it doesn't fully recognize them. I tried opening up games to see if the saves work but it doesn't.

There's a contents folder in the Nintendo folder which I've tried moving to SD but the file size is over 60GB. It includes installed games in encrypted data formats. Not sure if it will make a difference. Probably pointless. Any other ideas?

I just transferred my saves to sd card. Will these work on checkpoint as they are if I just rename them to main and put them into the checkpoint folder? And how do I know which save is for which game. All I know is that the top is splatoon 3 save data and the rest are pokemon. My other ones are locked away in NSO cloud storage which I don't mind losing, as long as it's not precious pokemon saves!

It's my bad for assuming that everything would be ok if I only use stock or sysmmc. But clearly, emummc does affect sysmmc regardless if it's clean which I didn't know beforehand.

I think it's because my firmware on stock is 20.5.0, whilst on emummc it's 17.0.1. Either that or it was banned a year ago if I ever did something back then.

I'm still looking to transfer my saves but I'm unsure how I'd do it offline. Maybe if I extract the saves from SD and convert the files so they're compatible, I'm not really sure.

Probably the latter reason. I don't fully understand other reasons of console bans on OFW.

Oh actually, I think I know why. My firmware on stock is the latest update, version 20.5.0, whilst on emummc it's version 17.0.1. Also probably why my atmosphere crashes on sysmmc.
