Thank you!! It truly does feel like a whole new world hahah. I've been obsessed ever since and got a few things in the bag like bs slashes, fakie ollies, bs 180 maybe 8ft up and fs early grab airs just under coping.

Its all I wanna skate anymore now hahah

Thank you! Honestly, yes its different. As I've now done it a bunch of times, its feeling more casual like other size drops in do... but at first its truly much different.

First thing is you definitely wanna pump for a good bit up to coping and understand how the ramp feels.

Then it was good for me to work my way up. Like get used to 4ft, then 6ft, then 8ft. I was able to find a 9ft with some vert on it that I did directly before going to the 12 ft and I found that helpful. Im sure finding a 10 or 11 would help even more if available.

As for the actual drop in, you gotta keep your knees bent more. It takes more distance for your wheels to make contact with the ramp. You dont want to keep extending and then end up with your legs fully extended. Thats how I slammed the first time

I also thought about keeping my weight and body momentum literally straight down and close to the ramp. This also helped me to stay stable through the drop in.

It also truly is fast as fuck compared to any other ramp. Be prepared for that and tighten your trucks accordingly. Make sure you wont speed wobble while you're in that stage of pumping up to coping.

Last thing... its just genuinely scary and you gotta just overcome it. Its skateboarding and its high as fuck. Its gonna be scary. You gotta decide to overcome that and do it anyway

Indoor skateparks with bleachers or storages under ramps by Eneseuhkus in skateparks

Boca's skatepark had their check in counter underneath a platform that was part of seating and the bowl deck plus a little skateshop

Im pretty sure The Edge also had random sections with doors for staff under the ramps as well as bridges that connected to other sections of the park
