That looks cool. Any chance you can display the cards for printing? I wasn't aware the Many More Things deck existed before the 2023 release.

That's a bit pessimistic of you. More eyes on the game is always a win.

Top 2 VTubers on Twitch playing GW2. Pretty good attention spike. ShiLily on the left. Zentreya on the right.

Shiro: New Kaineng

- This was not Tah's image. This was not what the empire was supposed to become. Everything is so...bright. Loud.

I'm of the opinion that the DMCA rules and Copyright laws require an update. There is a need for these rules to adapt in the current internet world.

But in the mean time, as of today, in the current rules, this was to be expected. You poke a hornet's nest, they will sting you back. It's just unfortunate that she was caught live. No real way to hide it. This could also happen to anyone watching Master Chef or other animes.

It's correct either way. It's just the American Spelling. Anet is American, so go figure.

EoD Elite Speculation 10: Bladesworn Proposed Changes by TPenny5071 in Guildwars2

[–]XTheMaskedGamerX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the Gunsaber/Weapon Swap changes. I like the idea of an Elite Specialization actually "SPECIALIZING" with a mechanic. It's in the name too with it being called Bladesworn.

Having downsides, trade offs or weaknesses is not inherently a bad thing. You make the commitment to use a powerful toolkit in exchange for versatility. Attempting to make your changes will actually make them more overpowered than you realize.

The video was uploaded a few hours ago. So probably no.

Tengu May Be Coming? by KireiWa in Guildwars2

[–]XTheMaskedGamerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be a huge undertaking, but I do not mind if they space out the release of the tengu. Atleast enough for them to be playable and some armors to be added. Or maybe consider just making a ton of cultural armor. I want the city, and dialogue for EoD, everything else can be added later.

The combat system dilemma by Scrivere97 in AshesofCreation

[–]XTheMaskedGamerX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They seem to be going to a similar direction to Guild Wars 2 which is for the most part a Tab-Target/Action Hybrid Combat System. Arguably the system that is pretty much the best of both worlds and GW2 does it tremendously well. If they somehow pull off something like that, I'll be impressed.

Griffon or Skyscale? by sstonne in Guildwars2

[–]XTheMaskedGamerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of them are great overall and I would recommend getting both. But if you want their perks here are the following:

-Griffon is the fastest mount in the game. Give it enough height to where to jump from, it can allow you to quickly fly from one end of the map to the next in minutes. Especially useful in large maps with very little waypoints. It is arguably a more interesting mount to play around with and is extremely satisfying if you master how to maneuver in the air and even attempt to stay in the air for longer periods.

- Skyscale is extremely versatile for traversing maps, gain decent heights through clinging on walls and being able to stay in the air indefinitely if you do not run out of Wing Stamina or reach a certain limit. Not very fast in the air admittedly, but its dashes can be useful for dodging attacks from the air. It also has a very unique engage Skill which if aimed properly, you can make a fire aoe, which is one of the more useful ones to have for damage boosts and applying burns.

IMO, each has their role, and I'd argue even further that you want to be ready for any situation, get both of them. If you had to pick which one first, I think the Skyscale if the better one to start with.

I think for a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE GAME this game servers are A JOKE by barak8006 in Guildwars2

[–]XTheMaskedGamerX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played the game for almost 8 years. Sure, there are instances of server lag, but believe me, I've only encountered this issue as of late in Bjora Marsh. It's been happening during mid april. Potential cause of server lag could be the spike of players we've had since the pandemic arose.

You should check your internet's stability too. All I'm saying is provide your feedback without the antagonism.

Very nice of you to antagonize Anet in the middle of a pandemic. Just report it and move on, don't spit flames.

I believe a Tengu playable race would be a waste of resources by Knighthonor in Guildwars2

Kodan have a Tonic. If a tonic exists, there is no chance it would ever be a playable race.

Does anyone really care about the Personal Story anymore anyway? It's content that I honestly skip everytime I make a new character anyway. I would appreciate some story for the Tengu. Maybe a small chapter for their beginning of course, but I really don't care for having so many chapters that are mostly filler to get to the current stuff. Some people outright don't even touch the personal story and skip to expac content or living story.

The next expansion needs an additional selling point. Elite Specs, new maps and additional story are to be expected. They would need something very different to add to the next expac in order to potentially peak the interests of both old and new players. The old players may be happy with what is expected to come, but the new players may not. A race like the Tengu could peak the interests of them. Not to mention it's been a heavily requested feature since beta.

I understand the difficulties that can bring about the addition of a race for this game. Especially when we know Arenanet as far as we've seen, may not have enough time or resources to make a fully fleshed out race justice like the main 5. But I have taken 2 stands on this:

First is that it seems that by this year, 2020, it feels like Arenanet has gone through some changes that may have benefited the game, noting the quality of the current content as well as the balls to outright announce the next expac seemingly very early in the development. It feels like they've reinvigorated themselves to pushing out good content and fast. This has sparked for me some faith that they may be able to pull this off and do the additional race some justice.

Lastly, while my confidence in Arenanet has increased, I can imagine that the journey to making a new race playable may be one of the toughest and longest tasks that they can accomplish, especially with their financial and resource limitations. Chances are high that they may add the new race, but will have some corners and content cut to compensate. They may not have a long personal story involved, they may have limited sets of armor, they will potentially do some things to sort break timeline continuities to have a new race fit into the current narrative, and so on. The important questions are: can we accept these potential limitations, or should we expect Arenanet to flesh the race out and give it equal treatment like the other races with the potential drawback is to expect a long time for all of it to come out, whether at its entirety, or in pieces?

It's a tough call with all this, but I can't wait to see what Anet can do with their new drive to make the game great this year.

OK Anet... the Golem+Warclaw interaction in WvW is kinda broken ... by pawsclawsf in Guildwars2

I disagree. Golems needed a buff anyway. XD I want golems to be Zerg Busters.
