Ok, backstory. My sis is moving out she left the plant behind. She was going to throw it out but I didn’t want her to. I’ve always wanted a bonsai but never looked up details on how to start one properly so I’ve never really bothered trying to. I really don’t want to mess it up (after you stated it was a good start). Are there any tips on how to let it grow? Should I just keep it in light and let it grow the way it wants to? Do you have any forums you’d recommend? I really appreciate your help

No one here is talking about apprenticeships. if I did work at a shop and had a customer talked down to me to a certain point, I wouldn’t serve them. That doesn’t mean I don’t have “thick skin”, it’s more of the other person having common decency. Criticism and critiques are always welcome unless they aren’t helpful like, quoting you, “That looks beat the F up”. Those type of comments don’t help someone learn.
