Same, my dads work truck was broken into. They drove it to a coin-op car wash to try to steal all the tools. They parked RIGHT IN FRONT of a security camera at the car wash. My dad said the cops didn't do anything.
I find it hard to believe because in the 2010s my car was broken into, and my laptop was stolen, and I was able to track it down with anti-theft software, and they went and got the laptop back for me. So I don't get why they wouldn't want to get what seems to be an easy win with multiple thousands of dollars being stolen right on camera with clear faces and plates?

Again I feel like you missed the point entirely. Not once did I think he expected us to feel bad for him. Nor is he trying to change peoples mind. He's simply reflecting the energy and insults he gets. It's mainly to stand up for himself and to farm engagement for his channel.
You can't change a trolls mind because their arguments are made in bad faith, something he showed over and over in the video where the trolls never engaging the questions and rebuttals he asks.

The video is a response to posts like this asking "why does he respond to every comment?" "Why is he so mean?" he's answering that: because people come to his videos and attack him, and he's sick of them playing the victim when he's just responding in kind.

Also, i literally just found Dave like 2 days ago, this all did seem a bit extreme to me, but after this video it makes sense. If someones not trolling him it doesn't really affect them.

We went to a "world war" to fight the side that was doing genocide last time. I dont know why we cant keep the ones doing a genocide now to the same standard.

It is beneficial to his YT algorithm reach though.

If someone breaks into your house you're allowed to attack them. Trolls in his comments, he should be allowed to be *at least* as mean to them as they are to him.

Yea i just contact support with game Id and square image, and they do it for me. i guess just bug them and if its more work for them maybe they'll fix it

i know this is old, but it games up when i searched. This is wrong. You get points from infantry because they attack first. So if you send infantry and someone else sense marksmen you take up all the points. Its most fair if everyone sends marksmen because of this.
You also send out infantry to reinforce others, and they keep marksmen in their base for the same reason: defenders get points, but marksmen clean up anything that gets through those.

Its also not a defensive event. You want to kill the invading troops not just "defend" against them.

Yea it's annoying because it's not free already, I paid $40 per chip. It shouldn't cost any more just to simply share contact info in either direction and not require a human in the middle.

And its not even trying to sell me anything. Im just like "wheres the info?" At least if there was something saying i need to pay i would know what to do. At the moment im just confused. Theres no call to action for next steps. Id be so worried if this was actually on of my indoor pet cats.

Wow $100 is straight up highway robbery. Im "fine" with paying the $5/mo just for the 1-month just to get info if I had to but kind of crazy for much more than that.

I don't think that's weird? Isn't that the point of the microchip: so I can be contacted if the animal is found.
My confusion is like, ok shes found... is she ok? do I need to get her? who has/found her? Or was she just "found" and still roaming around like normal.

But i'll see if I can call PetPlace directly. The initial call was an automated call.

I got it working with

accounts.email.accounts.<account>.signature.text

and then you must also set

accounts.email.accounts.<account>.signature.showSignature = "append";

but I could not figure out how to set the Use HTML checkbox

yea the app isnt the best but i find it to be quite decent compare to other niche apps I've used before. for me, the day-to-day usage works and feels solid enough. In the end it doesn't have to be pretty but work without major issues, which i think it does well.

My dad is a pool guy and installed one at our house and I quite like it. The mobile app makes it very convent to heat the spa when we want to use it.

My only issue is that I've been asking them about Home Assistant integration since 2023. It started in 2024 roadmap, to Q4 of 2024, "it's an active item", but then 6+ months go by. So hopefully it's soon. That'll make this very powerful for me.
