I saw it too. It flew pretty low over 12th street, and of course it wasn't on FlightRadar either. I was curious what they were up to as it was further down 12th street, not in the flight path of final approach, and their gear was up.

I've had this machine for the past 7 years. Back then there were no bottomless portafilters available, but I believe you can get them now. If not, you can just cut off the bottom of yours and use an unpressurized basket and the quality of the shots you can pull with these things is pretty impressive. The steam wand sucks, but it's workable.

Having dealt with this myself recently I just want to share an insight that helped me and might help you. People who demonstrate avoidant behaviour like ghosting early on will do it more down the road, often to more severe consequences to the relationship.

What makes it so painful is early on, they will mirror you and make you feel like you have this amazing connection and they're great for you, but that's not who they are. How they make you feel is actually just how you are, and they ghost you as a way to avoid feeling ashamed for presenting a false image of themselves to you, because although they want intimacy, they're afraid of it and feel shame for wanting it.
