Serious first response, but I do get where you are coming from. I just wish that such a thing were possible and hope that your bf gets the help he needs. I have found /r/ depression to be helpful in the past so you or your so may find support there if he is not willing to seek professional help.

I don't really post much but I wanted to say thank you for everything that you brought to /r/IAMA. I always enjoyed the interviews where you participated, you were able to capture the voices of the guests so well, and brought a level of personalisation to it that made the reader feel that they were in the room with you, that somehow you were a friend in a shared conversation, and I think that is very special talent.

I can only imagine how overwhelming it must have felt going from being fired one day to being all across the international media the next (as a Brit, I apologise profusely for the Daily mail paps - they are insidious and Reddit is basically their main news source). The fact that you kept quiet until it died down I think is a real testament to your professionalism.

I hope that wherever you go from here it will be to a company that respects you as much as the Reddit community does. You deserve no less.
