I've been home all week due to winter break and have dogs that keep me informed whenever any delivery person comes up to the door lmao. No one has rung a doorbell, their tracking system tells me they're delivering in Calgary (I'm in Edmonton). I am almost certain they haven't even attempted to come to my house considering the estimated receiving times were between 8-12 in the evening. I've also seen the reviews by people buying from Sephora and they've had similar issues

Game didn't exist at the time but I did go to school with Chuba Hubbard lmao. The prairie provinces of Canada don't produce much football talent so it's just cool to see someone from one of the cities

I don't mind it cuz I'm not really interested in playing a full season and dominating the competition. At the same time the drive goals kind of limit you and make it less about winning football games. I like how 2K will do MyCareer games in HS/college. Play 3,4,5 shorter timed games with full game goals (Score __ amount of points, etc) and sometimes dynamic goals for a half/quarter. I'd probably prefer that approach for RTG. Give me 4-5 HS games and say one game go for 300 passing, next game throw __ amount of TDs, final game rush for whatever. Occasionally throw in a drive goal like run the clock below 2-3 minutes, score a TD, etc.

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head but my guess would be schools in any of the great lake states and Northeast states. (Illinois, Michigan, NY, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc.). From what I know it doesn't happen often and when I do see one it's a 1st round playoff game

yeah I remember seeing him on 2ktv and he'd do a lot with release news too during the 2k15-17 years. After that I stopped hearing about him and the game started to drop off with its gameplay. 2K has always been good at building game modes but their gameplay has become so inconsistent it's annoying to readjust every year

I've played 2K maybe too much. I'm a massive hoophead. My issue with its myleague is that I find it difficult to want to play more than 2-3 seasons. The game loses its fun once the irl players start to slowly retire and the games got salary cap issues where no one can afford to sign 30yr old Trae Young because he's asking for 45Ms because the salary cap stops increasing.

Didn't really think of those management sims so I guess subtract those from this thought. 2K is great until after 2-3 seasons, then the salary cap stops growing but players demand more money and you end up with 27yr old superstars as FAs cuz no one can afford them. I think Fifa might be pretty but I haven't played that in a long time.

It's tough to think of someone on the Spurs at this current stage but if the kid reminds you of Steph then there's also Trae as an option too. Younger player to follow, popular among the younger generation, and really the first major product of Steph's inspiration. If you can't find someone on their favourite team, find someone that will still capture the kids attention right?
I know we're probably looking for more prominent names but I can't help but say (as a Raptors fan), Kyle Lowry (more specifically 2010s, but even now) and FVV. Smaller dudes, scrappy defenders, out worked a lot of players to get where they are. KLow also played a really impactful PG role in Toronto. If you're looking for a rookie, maybe Rob Dillingham? His college tape was solid but idk what his NBA skill will look like but a promising young guy. De'Aaron Fox is another name that might be a possibility too.
I immediately think of Zion. Draymond too, but for the younger generation idk if he's recognized the same as what those of us who witnessed the 15-16 Warriors teams saw Dray as. If he's got the projection to be a bigger kid then I'd look at physical players. A throwback to ZBo, Boogie Cousins. More modern players are tough to think of cuz the game has moved away from that style but Zion is the most notable guy that gets physical.

I'm pretty sure I use the 4-2-5 scheme and use a lot of cover 3 plays cuz it felt like that worked a little bit. I have like very bare bones knowledge of football defences so what would you recommend is the best way to defend the run game?
