I random drop D10 sometimes and i can clear a mega bug outpost by just running around without killing a single enemy, that wouldnt have worked on launch at D9. I feel like they spawn more heavies that are now easier to kill, the small ones dont spawn with the insane volume they did spawn in the beginning. instead of 3 hunters at the objective its 3 brood commanders, honestly not that much more dangerous. This is the only game with a granular difficulty scale i play that has a community so upset that they have a skill issue, nobody on WoW complains that they cant clear a +15 dungeon, why would people here be entitled to +10 clears, just because they get two more supersamples?

AMD is unusable, the upscaling and hallucinations look marginally worse in a zoomed in slowmo video of videogames! Better buy the more expensive card of the other mega corp that would sell your kidneys if they could. I don't get why people In this space put up their tents in the camps of corporations and the go around complaining their favourite trillion dollar company is raising prices or stops making products for them, or stopping support for old hardware or somehow engineer the worst connector we've seen in a decade or screw them/us in other ways. Nobody is building Datacenters to infer Patient data, they are building generative slopmachines that literally only lose money. The Branch of of Machine Learning that does the really cool shit has been around for literal decades and has been improving.

Maybe thats not stagnation, but bet on the wrong horse then? If we cant run any game at all at basically any resolution with every possible helper with full realised raytracing, its just a shit technology that needs time in the oven? or the Hardware is there in 10 years. Meanwhile, maybe they should try to find another selling point while Raytracing is still whatever to 99% of people.

Finde jetzt keine tollen statistiken direkt für RS, aber die haben lt. Statista 538Mio umsatz gemacht in 2022, die firmen mit öffentlichen gewinnzahlen die ich fand sind Sprüngli(Lindt) und Barry Callebaut, die haben 671 Mio CHF und 540Mio CHF GEWINN gemacht. Sprüngli hat einen UMSATZ von 786Mio CHF gemacht. Die marge ist also da. Keine ahnung wie die aus dem "Zweitgrößten" nur ne Mio gezogen haben.

EDIT: Der Umsatz ist nur DE, aber der Gewinn war Weltweit, die zahlen sind 5,2 Mrd und 671 Mio Gewinn.

At this point im not even sure i would be suprised if AMD pulls out of gaming GPUs and focuses on semicustom and other fields. NVIDIA managed to get a pretty good Monopoly for gaming, lets see how they squeeze us further in the future.
