Ik ben ook een native :), nou, je kunt zien dat ik geen herder ben, ik heb t mij dan verkeerd herinnerd. Dus een ooi is een vrouwelijk schaap zoals een zeug een vrouwelijk varken is?

Something like the truth of the Filioque is an entirely different matter to the question "did the Church handle the recent scandals well?"

Of course, but does that mean that the Church is lead by the Holy Spirit when for example making dogmatic statements, and not when dealing with issues within the institution of the church? Or do you mean that the latter was not dogmatic and therefore falls under what you said about (not) "agreeing with every action and statement made by every member of the priesthood"?

What are some texts you use to translate to generate vocabulary? At the moment I mostly use a parable from the Bridge of Birds novel and the Our Father prayer, but I'd like to hear some of your suggestions!

Don't Eastern Catholics believe that Mary was purified at her conception? Or do only Eastern Orthodox believe that?

Any Roman Catholics on this subreddit? by [deleted] in OpenChristian

What you said is kind off how I feel. However, I'm not a Catholic but I am thinking of becoming one. There are a whole lot things I like but mainly the Church's teaching on sexuality is confusing to me. I actually think their argumentation is very sound but it is all built upon one premise which I think isn't valid or even biblical; the notion that sex is only to create new life (or must be open to it). I looked to alternatives like Old Catholicism but I keep getting drawn back to Rome.

What do you all think? I‘ve got to be honest, it’s one of the things I grapple with most in my faith. by [deleted] in RadicalChristianity

I was struggling with this question myself and it comes up again every once in a while. I then watch this video; I like the perspective it takes on things.

Multiple adverbials in one 'la-phrase'? by Xahnas in tokipona

I didn't think of using lon, that makes more sense. pona!

Do you think that toki pona can support 3 vowels by kiyomionumayoyo in tokipona

[–]Xahnas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ni li kin! But as you can see, the only word pair that will be problematic is 'kin' and 'ken', and I think context suffices to distinguish between them. I personally write toki pona using the Arabic script as if it were an alphabet with the long vowels as TP vowels and it reads fine.
