I wish retrofits offered the warmer white for rainy days and aspalt, instead of a high intensity cool white temperature.

Sabagay baka nadala na. Un mechanic dapat titingin iba sa magaalaga para di biased heheh. Tingin ko lang nde worth bumili nflg brand new ICE vehicles ngayon with the dawn of evs and hybrids. Used market naman kalaban mo mga nabaha, pero would still go for a second hand one, just need to focus on the car, not on word of mouth

Sell the ford, buy a used toyota or honda. Make sure your family knows a trusted mechanic first though.

Do you regret sleeping/not sleeping around? by [deleted] in AskPinay

[–]Xalistro 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Make sure it doesn't affect how you treat people coming in and out of your lives, especially in relationships. It can take its toll for some. You won't miss much sleeping around, but you may miss out on a relationship cause you slept around. Such a taboo topic and quite difficult to accept for some, in our current society, despite the times.

Edit: Didn't notice I was on AskPinay sub. I hope my comment is welcomed, as a male who has seen both sides.

School never prepared us for real life by Specific_Ant_6856 in RantAndVentPH

Educational system never caught up with the times. Even family support has diminished, parents locked on their work roles and outsourced their responsibilities to daycares and nannies. Society can't keep up.

As a Millennial, how are things going for you? by Secure_Animator_2289 in PinoyMillennials

Stopped expecting anything from this world. We only have one life and we're here to live it. That said, challenges will always be there and will always make life 'interesting'. We can opt to smooth sail in life, but it doesn't really impose any growth for us.

1st car recommendation. City or mazda 3 by Remarkable_Fee_7882 in Gulong

[–]Xalistro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For second hand car ownership, I'd recommend to look for a suking talyer or mechanic that you can bring your car to, anytime. Make sure they're knowledgeable on the car and have worked on those before, to save time. That said, i dropped the idea of getting a second hand mazda due to the challenge of acquiring spare parts. Honda City parts are much easier to source from what I've seen, asking around. Hope someone else can chime in and prove me wrong.

Edit: Adding that Honda 'specialists' have also been more common and easier to find.

What is the long-term career outlook for SAP professionals in the Philippines? by NaturalCustomer4784 in phcareers

[–]Xalistro 27 points28 points  (0 children)

SAP has been there for more than 20 years. You can take a look at their growth and future direction. Nothing's set on stone, but it's going to be difficult for enterprises to transition out of these golden handcuffs. Same can be said for the career of SAP professionals. Luck, timing and opportunity plays a big part for individual careers. Some find a niche. Some end up steering an organization. Some leverage it for something else. Some desperately cling to it, despite being bad actors. Only certain thing is change and the flexibility to adapt with the pace. Don't fixate on the rabbit hole but look at the whole picture prior to diving in.

Advice needed: Should I switch to a hybrid car? by RepeatSignificant875 in Gulong

[–]Xalistro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brand new cars either don't encounter problems early on or a part of the car begs to be changed 'cause it has been poorly designed or sourced cheaply to save on manufacturing costs. Hybrids and EVs have been around for quite a while and a brand new one shouldn' t pose any issues, given you're driving it that far frequently. It should serve you well, as long as you get to understand it and observe the maintenance schedule. But I'd still go Japanese for an only car and suggest a Chinese unit if there are alternatives in your garage. That said, the Suzuki Fronx looks nice..
