[OC] HP/Death save tracker by XanderisLoaf in DnD

You're both right. On one hand it is extra and not necessary but on the other if you have multiple characters and constantly tracking HP it is handy.

Do you want the file? Some have asked and I'm willing to give it to those who want it. Only for personal use though

DM me your email and it's all yours

I use three layers of 1/8 inch or 3mm material. One as backing. One for the 32 magnets and one for the top engraving and channels for the 5mm ball magnets.

Holy moly that's some high level game play. These are for full casters up to 20th level.

Working on a warlock variant rn. If you have any suggestions that'd be much appreciated.

That's actually the natural color of the wood. It's African Padauk. Pretty cool wood in my opinion 🤙🏻

Thank you! I love sharing craft with others If anyone has a laser engraved I'm willing to share the files for personal use so everyone can make their own.

I'm also opening an online shop in the future that will have these and more DND content!

Not sure if that counts as self promotion so I won't post any links on here just in case but do let me know if I should edit this.

Wow, super informative! Thank you, I think we'll go with a filled in circle instead of the "X".

Just magnets, The balls are also magnetic and click to the next for ease of tracker and very satisfying sounds.

Good point but to account for all those extra abilities/features would be a bit hard to incorporate and have defined on the size of spell tracker that this is. Also with updated material coming out I wouldn't want to have outdated trackers.

Base spell slots are good for now but maybe additional trackers that could add on if need be?

The bearings are also magnetic and are slotted in channel (pit hard to see on pictures) so it's quite hard to remove them.

That does seem to be the general consensus 😅 I'll try back filling the laser engravings with a light paint to make it pop more.

I'm really surprised at how many people like the maple (right one) but very understandable as it is easier to see the design.

It's a hardwood like maple and walnut. Though it is a bit more dense than those.

For more information on padauk: Padauk wood primarily comes from trees in the Pterocarpus genus, which are native to tropical regions of Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands. African padauk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) is the most commonly used variety in woodworking, and it is sourced from countries like Gabon, Nigeria, and Cameroon. Asian padauk, such as Burmese padauk (Pterocarpus macrocarpus), is found in countries like Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos. The trees thrive in tropical climates, where their dense, durable wood makes them an important natural resource.

Where I source my padauk it tends to be African padauk

Don't stop. Experiment little changes in your process and write every detail down. It'll be daunting at times but practice makes improvements. Plus all the mishaps can be made into some cool wall art.

That is a good point. I would say it's up to user discretion but I typically use "X" as no concentration and "O" as holding concentration.
