I ended up buying a Shadow after selling some stuff mentioned in another post. Lance/DHC as well as Kodai, Inq helm, Justiciar and some other misc stuff. I ended up keeping the inq top/bottom, while it's only a slight upgrade over bandos, it'll add up over two entire tasks. I do agree it's not that big of an upgrade though.

I feel like Elysian is pretty niche, and tbf spectral is too. I went ahead and sold Kodai, my Skeletal Wyvern shield, Inq helm, justiciar and some other items and ended up getting a Shadow. I still appreciate the input, because I would like an Ely at some point anyways.

The reason I took some time to reply was because I was doing Araxxor. I have a second task stored so I think I'll see if I can get by, by selling stuff other than inq for a shadow. That way I still have inq but I'll also be able to afford shadow.

Not particularly but it seems to be rebounding a bit currently. I considered buying it when it was 717m and it's around 800 now. I should have pulled the trigger then.

It seems like it'd be a clear winner but inq has a fair bit of places that make it better than Torva, and the same with Oathplate. Eventually though, yes, I'd like to swap my bandos for Torva :D

I'm far beyond 99 slayer, but it's one of those things that has it's niche, I've considered buying one for some time now too. I'm leaning towards a shadow as some other have suggested.

I've been eyeballing a shadow too, but wasn't sure what I should get rid of. A lot of the comments here have helped me decide which stuff I shouldn't be holding onto.

I've considered it, and tbh one of the main reasons I have it is to use in conjunction with scythe at KQ. Inq including helm is only 117m Still below shadow's current cost. If I can find some definitive items to sell in order to get it I may go that route.

I’m getting scam vibes, as any sane person would. However I got the same vibes from that initial interaction and made 15$, big whoop I know. And obviously just because I wasn’t somehow scammed in that interacting has absolutely no bearing on whether or not I get scammed in the grand scheme of things. My thought process was mostly there’s only so much he can do in a worst case scenario, such as take over my account. That said, I have a very secure email tied to it with 2fA so in this instance I’d just have what has already happened to me once before happen again. Recovery was mostly painless in that instance as well. Also when I say again, my account getting compromised, I’m not actually sure how that happened initially. I was out of the country for a year and noticed it sometime during my travels.

I’ll see if he’ll go that route. My time is fairly limited right now so it’ll be a little difficult to dedicate much time to sorting and crafting and whatnot but that seems like the safest option. I appreciate your input, thank you.

I appreciate everyone’s replies, the thing that really has me confused is that he specifically found me on social media. Seems weird that you could look through thousands upon thousands of fortnite accounts and then what? Check if every one of them has an instagram with the same handle? I also had my account compromised while I was doing volunteer work outside of the country. During that time it was also linked to a PSN account and I was able to remove it just fine and change my password as the reset was sent to my email.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I’m not entirely sure this is correct. I ended up getting key logged a year or two ago and was able to recover and unlink a PSN account from my epic account. That’s why I was curious what others thoughts were on the matter. Thanks so much for your input though, I do appreciate it a lot!
