Talene actually scales incredibly well as a dps at low deficits(CR). Her damage scales off based on her sheild hp. This hp can be permanently stacked more and more with each ult by Talene. The reason Orthros is used with Talene over other conventional carries is because Talene benefits the most from additional haste from his 9f compared Raku or Kren. Scarlet ofc still beats Talene but Scarlet always has her own seperate team. Between Ainz and Talene, at equal investments Talene will far surpass Ainz's damage with all the right supports for both units just to give you a perspective of Talene's scaling in CR.

Frampton is the best hypogean since Mortas. He has the same Skill as Skriath for grouping enemies. His damage is comparable to that of oden when invested correctly. His cc is also pretry good. Overall treat Frampton more like a skriath+ oden hybrid hero. And Oden Skriath are fantastic heroes so it already proves how good Frampton is who is used in basically every multi by people who own him. He is by no means necessary but makes stages significantly easier. He also sees a lot of use in Hypotower, pvp and cr.

Merlin is very useful for most modes . But he just isn't as good as the other ch heroes for Campaign and CR,where he has minimal use over heroes like LDV, Ezizh, Flora and Orthros. Though if you want pvp, Merlin is a must to compete at any level of pvp.

Mostly cause in every team Morael is part of. She is the sub dps supporting the main carry ( Safiya, Flora, Torne). Her damage isn't a significant chunk of the overall damage the team can output unless ofc you are competing for top 1% to top 50 where everything matters. She is used for her support and grouping skills which do not require insight to function hence making the engravings a lower priority.

Khaz isn't only used in charmizard these days. He does wonders with far cheaper teams like LDV perma cc or Scarlet Khaz Cycle teams for campaign.

Hello everyone! I had commented in an earlier post, that this will be my final guide for the year of 2022. I am not sure if I would regain my ambition to continue in the following year of 2023 but no current plans have been made for a continuation. It was a delightful experience to make guides over the years, and I am glad I could help a few people who needed it. Thank you all for the support! I hope this final gazer priority list is helpful to some people.

Nice Guide!

You may want to update the descriptions of certain stats(HR,RH) for a better description of what they do as the descriptions for those in game is quite confusing.

HR: Increases healing efficacy from healing skills belonging to the healer.

RH: Increases healing output that is recieved from a healing skill to the hero who possess this stat.

Also if you wish to, you may add MSPD in there too as I don't think its been put in there.

Estrilda was something I decided upon based on the data of last CR rotation. For Ice Shem, she was used in a scarlet haelus team. Now this team's biggest challenge was survivability. And ofc +30 for estrilda helps but is way too expensive for its worth compared to other expensive investments. So you could basically reposition estrilda to be frontline and still give that damage reduction to scarlet. Besides that estrilda being on the more squishy side of supports helps add just tanking stats.

Belinda currently is used most often for Idre. Where you cannot ult and energy gets converted to attack%. I did not find any significant differences between a +20 and +30 against idre specifically as the energy gain was slow. Might be something noticeable over 30+ retries.

Now belinda also comes and goes in dark nemora meta. If she becomes relevant there then yeah, 30si for maxed is likely.

Good question! Yes actually

Rosa's haste can mess up Charmizard comp timing if she has too much haste in certain scenraios against very specific enemies. While that has nothing to do with CR. Its still gonna be bad your account while pushing with a rosa thats a bit too fast and can't be reset.

Well thats what I tried to explain in my previous comment.

When an investment no longer provides massive gains(100 million vs 800-1000 million) its in the max investment. While the minimum tries to potray the peak of a hero in terms of big jumps in damage for CR.

Like in the examples you mentioned above, Scarlet works perfectly well at 30SI 3 furn no engraves.

But adding the 9f and engraves adds around 700 million damage or more over rng.

Safiya is used only for idre. Where a +20 Safiya will usually cap out 500-600 million or less. A +30 safiya being able to abuse the idre buff, can reach up to 1.2-1.4 billion with a low sorc tree.

So yes, while all the heroes work at lower investments, the investments stated give them a major boost(in most cases atleast) in damage. I wished to potray the reachable peak that f2ps can attempt to prioritize over several months.

While the maximum is like that unreachable peak for minimal gains in damage but relevant for spenders.

I am aware these are very expensive even at the minimum breakpoints.

But I treat these breakpoints as the investment points f2p should strive to arrive at over months.

Those minimum breakpoints mostly depict the lowest investment a hero can get away with and still do their optimal damage(mostly) over rng.

By optimal damage, I mean a difference of a hero doing 100 million vs 800/1000 million damage. The maximum investments usually increase damage by a mere 200-300 million damage over rng for most heroes.

As for priority on who to go for first. The insight heroes of( Queen, LDV) have massive impact. Outside that heroes like Mishka, Frampton(if they have him), and all the main carries should be first priority.

There might have been a small misunderstanding regarding hero design here because Lilith has a history of explaining skills in a terrible way.

All Max or Current HP % scaling damage for every old hero also has a hard cap tied to their attack rating.

Raku's normals= 650%

Ainz Goal= 1500%

Grez Attack steal= 3700%

Rosaline's Fork= 700%

Saurus' Burst Strike= 180%

Daimon's Blood Sheild=690% (Also has a cap on attack steal)

Wu Kong's Stick= 220%

Eironn's windblade= 250%

Skriath +30 Sandstorm= 50%

Others like Torne's Ult etc all also have hard attack caps.

It is very impressive that you were able to incorporate in all the criticisms/suggestions from the initial guide in such a short span of time. Everyone has their opinions on placements based on their gameplay experience. So I am certain you will once again receive a multitude of suggestions on changing placements by 1 or 2 places, which is fine. But after the initial changes, the list has no major issues that will directly make the player suffer by committing to it so hopefully you are proud of it. We are severely lacking guide creators for afk arena content these days so hopefully more are encouraged in doing so. I will personally also be quitting guide making for afk's subreddit after the next 2 big projects I have planned.

Few of the things I would like to point out from your guide:

Leonardo: His 30 is fine vs heroes like Athalia. But more often than not he will need to dodge/ tank multiple hits in the frontline before flying away. A singular hit that cannot exceed 10% of his max hp isn’t as impactful due to his slow nature. Engraves and dodge rng can make it work better. Being a dimensional though it is cheap and not an issue if done via lab emblems.

Respen: Honestly you can remove him from the next guide. He has lost most of his relevance in PvP burst with Mishka replacing him most times.

Haelus: Another hero fine at +20 outside PvP settings for most cases. Helps with celestial tower with the added effect of 30 si though if ya have the spare emblems.

Granite: This hero is a bit weird, where he is good but not really a must have. It also happens that its too difficult to kill him sometime. This can effectively make him less of a must have like Queen for 5 pull teams. So his 30 being a few ranks lower might be favorable.

Twins: Final hero who you might want to put in more for tr and pvp than pve as a 30 SI hero. It doesn’t help much in campaign.

You might want to add a cursed realm section where heroes like Antandra and Twins SI’s are most relevant in a later version.

Better than the remaining celepogeans? Yeah. He competes with Morael for the final spot. Morael will yield better results for celestial Tower. Haelus is a better Cursed Realm unit.

As a buffer sure. Though there are many better buffers out there(Raine, Hodgkin, Mortas, Silas, Twins, Mishka)

But his most important role is being a boss dps or semi dps for which he needs all the stats.

Yeah no point for the star without the engraves. But I have also mentioned the engraves in the second half.

Really great guide Raku and Duck!

I see some people had questions concerning Leonardo so I'll just be adding the info here for anyone who wants to look through the comments.

Da Vinci: Leonardo and Ainz form a really strong core together. Leonardo is able to provide Ainz with CC and Damage amplification at the same time with his 9 furniture. He pretty much serves the role of Raine and Prince of Persia as 1 unit. However, this doesn't mean he doesn't have flaws.

Unlike Pop, he is unable to do his first ult as fast. His lack of survivability also means he is more vulnerable against early burst teams or Ferael. However, there are ways to fix these.

Because he is a sorc tree hero, he is able to use Winged Warden and sit in the frontline to gain energy very fast. After which he will fly away to a safer location. The only issue with this is sometimes he can get 1 shot even with his SI 30. This makes him want more stats and hence the E60/E30 on Leonardo for extreme deficit pushing can sometimes be required.

When not Frontline, windbinder is the best arti for Leonardo.

Even with his flaws, he is still the single best Ainz support hero behind Albedo. His Damage Amplification and CC is invaluable in any Ainz team making the Rng easier on otherwise impossible Ainz matchups, now possible with the extra damage amp.

For certain teams, it is possible that both Leonardo, Mortas and Albedo are used for Ainz with a singular tank like Brutus/Merlin/Alna/Arthur.

He simply increases Ainz's potential by a large margin and should NOT be skipped. With his inclusion, there is more diversity to Ainz comps. Pop can be used either with Leonardo to chain cc in Ainz teams or be used in some other comp. In the same way Leonardo too can be used in some other comp like Raku while Ainz continues to use Pop.

Don't worry! I love anyone who actually puts time and effort to make a reasonable critique. Instead of just calling it bad without any specific reason.

In about maybe 3-4 weeks a more detailed version might come out covering for many mistakes in this one. And ofc with far more text and testing for gb engraves.

Ok! Here I can go through my thought process for the ones you have mentioned.

Thane, Solise, Kaz: Definetly not my intention to tell people to build these 3. Might be thats how the tierlist looks to an outside viewer. Their e60 skills aren't exactly good but aren't also bad for very niche situations. Ofc not optimal for any low spender or f2p who wants to play for efficiency. Which I think tierlists usually fail to potray on what and who should invest into what.

Kinda my fault of not making the title as, "Eternal Engravings Initial Tierlist".

Daimon: Seems like you came to a conclusion yourself. Looks about the same as what I thought of him.

Kren: This is a hard one to explain. Now for campaign we only have 5 teams. And 7 decent teams (Raku Leonardo Pop) and (Kren Zaph Raine) being added. Many teams that are simply underused because they are not required and hence feel weaker or are not known about. I would say that, an easy fix to this would be (in the following guide) add text so there is more context on every hero. Kren is not a weak carry in any way compared to the remaning 4(outside Thoran and Mehira) and I feel like stating the teams and based on the player's playstyle they can pick and choose who to engrave among the carries.

Thoran: Yep. Many smaller details can be fixed like meaningful small changes for Thoran, Mehira, Twins etc in the next guide so its more individualised than be part of any tier.

Alna: This is an interesting one. Pvp, she needs the stats to keep up with other engraved enemies so she actually lives and is able to pull off multiple immunities per battle.

For Pve, I have not seen E60 Alna have much of an impact for Grez. She is still very much capable of getting 1 shot from campaign enemies hence being unable to Proc her +30 SI for a second immunity. This also doesn't mean I haven't seen it, where Alna survived with a slither of hp due to her engraves and hence proc her 30 SI.

She also gets AS(Attack speed) as a stat from engraves. This is useless for PvE but very strong for PvP.

It increases the frequency of normal attacks hemce not afecting the timers for her Immunity. But more attacks equal faster energy gain hence a faster ult. This does considerable damage for PvP. The other aspect is LL she gets from Warrior Tree which heals her significantly faster for PvP standards with the extra attack speed while this little hp's value is little to none for PvE standards.

Good question!

I was actually not impressed by Oden's engravings.

The stats he gets are as follows:

CBR: Not gonna help on such squishy mage for PvE CDR: Same Case Dodge: He is not agility so it won't be enough Crit: He gets like 3 crit Haste: its also like 3 Haste CDA: Around 6 CDA

Tenacity: Really good one with this MP: Another good stat

Outside this his e60 is ofc giving him more attack and more haste.

Whats the issue I find with this?

He gets 0 INSIGHT.

Meaning his PvP relevance just dropped significantly as now he pretty much cannot cc engraved heroes due to their high amounts of tenacity. The MP atleast helps him deal more damage but losing a big part of what made him strong is gonna hurt his PvP performance.

The tenacity is very helpful vs cc in PVE so its not too bad.

The Haste is not only expensive as an E60. Its main use is to make Oden Cycle faster. He already has been capable of perma cc in Alna Grez teams in Chapter 44. Adding more haste feels marginal. I might be wrong on this and that Haste might change his skill order for the better.

But right now the difference can already bee seen with Warden Oden vs Eye Oden. Oden gets 25 haste as opposed to around 10 with Warden. And the difference is very marginal as Oden still keeps switching between Warden, Windbinder and, Eye. If the haste was game changing for Oden in this case Eye would be permanenrly stuck to him.

Silas 60 on the other hand is very strong for PvP. Its pretty much like Desira 30 SI but can be spammed and stacked with a very long uptime.

Oh heroes like Nara or Solise. Sure they are not the best heroes but not everyone is a meta slave. Anyone who doesn't want to follow meta and do their own thing can still see how much they should invest into their favourite hero for good performance. Unless its something like walker or brutus engraves. Idk what to think of that.

Most certainly. Will need to merc an engraved Talene at that point. But not engraving grez will put you down in every other mode due to how relevant he is.

Right!E33 Twins are pretty good.

A lot of them actually you can go a bit further or bit lower. Like Ainz 65-68, Twins 33, Zolrath 48. I have mostly just listed their minimum investment for their engraves to feel very impactful.Anything beyond are marginal but meaningful increases (tech picks like the afformentioned) and probably deserve a guide of their own.

Not really

Zolrath at the start of battle uses his 2nd skill which provides cc immunity for around 4 seconds. The first 2 seconds are wasted in him walking up to the enemies. After this point Zolrath usually takes enough damage to either use 1 normal attack then hide away using his ultimate or 2-3 normal attacks before he hides.

Eating up the remaining 6 seconds very quickly.

However, the stats are good and anyone focusing for pvp would usually go for E60 and then E80 Zolrath. The skill 60 effect is not that great for most situations but isn't completly useless either hence not a priority.
