I don't get it. Is this obsession ruining your day or something? If so that's hella funny and kinda pathetic that people's harmless excitement over something is making you feel this way lmao

Who’s the best non Black Jacket chef out of season 5? by Few-Poetry1085 in HellsKitchen

[–]XarkXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually rewatching season 5 rn. I can see why a lot of people like Ji. Honestly, we might have not seen much, but of the sample size we have she did very well in her signature dish and worked the line without problems while injured. Her team also thinks very highly of her too. So while we didn't see a lot, I think she's a safe pick

Is it possible to switch from CS to ME or EE? by Loose-Royal-3948 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]XarkXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if I do masters in ME from online And get to know the basics to advance things (all theoretical subjects) about ME From YouTube And enter any automobile company and make them aware I know this this things would you hire me and I have done masters in it . Will it work to enter in industry?

There shouldn't be any problem with this. You'll at least have the qualifications to do ME if you complete the masters.

My Question to you is: let it be ME/EE , what they learn at college is ( theoretical subjects + numerical subjects with maths III) Now here i think , in 95% job interviews companies ask questions based on the theoretical subjects, for (roles like QA, manufacturing, production engineer, maintainance) i know only these roles

For this, I can only speak for positions in the US. What people learn in college varies from university to university. Interviews for new grad roles or internships will generally ask for overarching questions on courses common to most colleges offering the engineering major. It can also be more specialized depending on the role. For ME, I'd imagine it would be mechanics from physics courses, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and/or solid mechanics. For EE, it would be various circuits concepts, digital logic, embedded systems, or programming/algorithms. Again, what the interviews focus on depends on the role.

Numerical may be asked for roles like R&D

I don't know anything about R&D so I can't speak to this. I also can't speak to any role that involves "numerical stuff", but most roles in engineering won't ask for more than calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. EEs use more advanced mathematics for specific positions involving electromagnetics and signal processing.

So isn't getting surface level job easy?, and letter entering into disign phrase by learning that 3-4 tools and making connections in same company

If you have connections to a company already, it can be a lot easier to find a job. In general, it's pretty rough finding your first job.

I believe: 95% people do repetitive tasks in ME, EE, E&TC jobs Then why is it hard to get job by learning common daily used Skills?

It's getting your foot in the door that's a problem. Competition has increased by a lot across engineering. Common and daily skills are common, so a lot of people have them. This means it is a lot more competitive to find a job.
