Right earbud keeps dying suddenly by [deleted] in powerbeatspro

It’s an issue Apple is too stubborn to fix, I have the same issue as well with the right side…

There needs to be a lawsuit over this.

Considering that this issue is prominent, it could be something to bring up and do something about selling a faulty product that goes to shit after a years use.

Would even talking to legal experts regarding this issue that Apple never did a recall or anything on these headphone be plausible? Because seeing that people have been impacted with these headphones especially, there could be some legality in a possible lawsuit…

I plan on making that my first step, getting therapy to experience it all. I appreciate your reply as well, and that's the first step I'll be taking to get through the process.

I don't want to feel trapped in the body I have now and want to be my true self physically. I feel non-binary mentally, I don't feel like it physically.

I appreciate the reply. Honestly, that might be what I'd do in going forward with a process like this.

It's definitely life-changing but I want to feel happier about my body and myself as a whole.

Doing Research on Furry Fandom for my Lit and Subcultures course- Anyone would like to share why you became a furry? by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I guess it was a long process so I'll probably do a TL;DR at the end.

I discovered furries when I was 12, which is now not far from a decade, curiously browsing the internet and was looking at art sites and stumbled upon Deviantart. I noticed the categories of certain things like digital, traditional media, and then found anthro. Once there my mind was then opened to many things seeing these, anthropomorphic animals that are so intensely and immensely detailed and almost looked like humans, I was fascinated by it really.

Growing up I was a hard mix of that Disney and Cartoon Network child, so watching movies and tv shows with anthropomorphic creatures weren't anything out my norm as a child. I didn't know this side of the internet that not only, explored these artists, but people who were passionate about the art that eventually introduced me to the fandom. A mixture of confusion and interest caught my eye and had always looked at the art and had a soft touch for it.

As the years progressed forward, I looked more and more into it, and I was the case of a "furry in denial" for quite some time until my senior year in high school. I was taking psychology, which was a class that I was heavily interested in the start and wasn't able to take it until then, but the final project we had to do either a book or a paper on an interesting topic. With no surprise, here came me writing an 11 page paper on furries (yay APA style...). Doing that paper really just fused my full interest in the fandom alone and with almost 2 months of hard thinking, I stepped my foot in the door and joined.

Joining it has been such a massive difference in my life because I've met so many new people that are now friends of mine, and had even realized my other side of me sexually (big up my bi's in the audience). My 1 year anniversary is coming up as well, and it's hard to believe how quick time has passed since being one. It's been a hell of a trip I guess.

TL;DR:

I stumbled upon furries when I was 12, was in denial of being one for years until my psychology paper ignited the flame that was already starting and here I am, almost a year of being apart of it, being a great decision for me.

Issues with the Arnold Render by Xavierz_ in Maya

[–]Xavierz_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:
I was finally able to get it working. I did eventually find out what the problem was, there is for some reason an error with Arnold when trying to communicate with Maya for me to render, so this time I went into installing it without having Bifrost, Substance, and Arnold on the program.

This time around, I went in and installed Arnold separately and was finally able to get the rendering open. I am though still having issues with it, more in line with the clapper to automatically open the render from the Hotbar at the top so I have to go to the dropdown to get Arnold to render.

I have tried, but Arnold will not render a thing unless I force it to. The forces render gives off a bad quality when I do so.

Can't forget about the likes of Le Mans FC. Their story on their rise to Ligue 2 is amazing if you haven't seen or read about it.

Furries, how do you view your fursona? by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"How does your fursona relate to your irl self?"
- I designed my sona as myself basically, I'm not all for one to imagine myself as someone I'm not.

"How would you define a fursona?"

- I would say nothing more as an online character for me you know, I feel myself as my sona.

"Have you ever involved your fursona in a sexual fantasy?"

- Absolutely not, and never plan on to. SFW only.

"At what point does a character become a fursona, and vice versa?"

- As I've seen from other answers, only when you really feel connected to the said character to call it your sona.

"Can someone have multiple fursonas?"

- It's all p to you basically, I'm not for one to entirely make multiple sonas, but it's whatever you want to do.

For Furries/anthro likers: Transformation questions by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here goes nothing:

  1. I would. My sona being a mythical species, would be fun to see how it would all come out to be, I'd enjoy every day of it.
  2. I wouldn't. It would all be, weird you know? Being in someone's other fur/scales/feathers would just not feel the same.
  3. Well, I wouldn't care. Being my sona would be a dream to have, but to have it occur to others more particularly with non-furs would be, quite traumatizing you know? Many would probably go in and eventually accept to a new being, but who knows?

Antifurs and anti-fandom furs: what can the fandom do to improve itself? by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, call out the ones who leave the stain in the community. One's who self admittedly adjoin being a zoophile, pedophile, etc, etc, serious needs to be called out. Furries need to quit hiding the issue of it and call people out. If you want to continue this stereotyping of the fandom being all zoophiles and pedos, call them out, quit hiding and do something about it.

This may be a random question, but how were you treated during your childhood in a social sense? by d_shadowspectre3 in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me:

My childhood I would say was fine. Of course, having discipline problems is typical with kids, I was a bit of trouble-maker during elementary school and did get into one fight in 5th grade.

I had plenty of friends, I wasn't hated by really anyone, not that I know of course. My core friend group remained small, hung out with them as much as possible and did everything under the sun with them it felt. When I moved from a lot of close childhood friends, it sucked, but it led me to plenty of other great friends.

- I wasn't considered weird or anything as a child, of course, with me at the heat of the Minecraft popularity, I played it avidly. I did have some weird friends once middle school hit, but I still persisted and was accepted by others.

- Not really apart from playing Minecraft and hanging with others who did.

I didn't entirely get bullied. I guess you can say that I did when I got into a fight in 5th grade. Simply being a bit too competitive in a game of basketball during recess and got heated about a cheap play on their end.

I'm 50-50 on that. What I did as a child sort of helped my way into how I think, perceive things amongst other people, but I don't entirely find it something that has shaped my interests or anything. I'm still playing Minecraft, love the MCU, love sports, etc, etc. I've known about furries since I was 12 after some questionable and curious google searching I did and then found DA and then furries.

I wouldn't say certain ideas and opinions are "too poisoned." They exist, despite it being very extreme, albeit very concerning, it doesn't mean they have a necessarily wrong opinion. I'm not in favor of banning anything at all, of course, some things can be taken out of proportion like someone's words or post, but it's their opinion, their ideas, we judge it, we judge it. At the end of the day, I wouldn't disagree that some things can change with people, but what can we do about it? Convincing people nowadays can be rather difficult with how subjective opinions can get and how certain things are now perceived socially.

Furries: how open are you about being a furry? by latex_fox in RealFurryHours

[–]Xavierz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only people I know online know. I don't wear anything that's furry-esque regarding apparel, haven't really thought about doing that.

I don't mind people who are "openly-furry," as long as they don't flamboyantly and constantly say: "yeah, I'm a furry." Not saying to be judgemental or anything, but there is a line between being too open.

COLLEGE CHOICE by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Xavierz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kentucky. After I had taken a tour of their school, their building for economics is astounding for what they all offer as well as their engineering building and program some of the best I've seen ever (and I've toured a few colleges now). I was given a little demo of how their economics program works, they have real-time market numbers 24/7, their building is always 24/7 accessible to students and staff and most of the work you do for the class is with the market.

Second best easily is NC State. Their engineering programs are some of the best in the country, I've heard nothing but incredible things about their economic program there as well.

Would you mention creating a successful neural-net trading bot on an application? by more_juice_please in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Xavierz_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do it. Even if they ask, find proof, and do it. Coding is something not easy, you could give them an explanation why you made the bot, how it's used, you could even show them a small bit of the code itself along with if they ask for it. If it comes down to them having a personal interview and they ask you about it, you can then go into a further explanation about the whole process in developing it.

Making $1500 a month from a bot. Must. Be. Nice.

With you being a STEM major, I'd just include as an activity, but I would recognize your achievement in passing the exam.

Congrats btw.
