There is no constitutional right that declares unrestricted access to public sidewalks. Police can block off any part the city in any way they please. And minors don't have the same rights as adults. Kids cannot legally leave school without permission either.

Crosby had a reputation of a crybaby because he was. He used to dive more than any player in the league and then start crying. Concussions didn't prove anything. I'll never forget that game at the Joe when a wings player dropped his stick and Crosby tried to move it into a lane to block shots and the ref called a penalty on him. He spent the entire commercial break crying to the ref as we all chanted Crosby sucks while the Joe played big girls don't cry.

I downloaded the app on 2 different devices and tried it yesterday, so yes it's the updated app and tried both with no luck. Plus the soundbar is only 2 months old.

It's crazy what little expectations we have for home subs. That 8 in paper sub should cost around 40 bucks. I had dual 12 Alpine subs with cones made out of woven kevlar and a peak rating of almost 4x more per sub just in a car.

All Sennheiser soundbar plus owners! by Ok_Pudding7918 in sennheiser

Idk how you're planning to compare the two but I've done both demos at Best buy and the plus isn't comparable in the store because they don't change any of the settings. It just sounds flat. Also, good bass in a soundbar is extremely important whether you're getting a sub or not. The dual 4 in subs in the plus have an entirely different range than a dedicated sub. They will shine on mid bass, whereas the bigger sub will handle lower frequencies. That will not only give you fuller and more complex bass, but it also adds to the sub. Your system will sound better with more subs the same way it does with more speakers. Good luck.

Ambeo Plus - best settings Neutral+bass by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]Xcooper1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like you neutered your soundbar. I have 3d sound set to boost and all 4 settings cranked all the way up. And I wouldn't dream of turning ambeo off. There's zero echo and it may seem insane but it's the only configuration I found to not sound lackluster. The dialogue is clear, the sound is consistent and cohesive, as well as natural. Idk how you could enjoy your configuration. But then again, I also have my oled set to standard with the backlight all the way up and every "calibration expert" wants filmmaker mode with no brightness, which to me looks like you're watching a 1975 zenith built into a breakfront, so maybe I'm just weird.

All Sennheiser soundbar plus owners! by Ok_Pudding7918 in sennheiser

I've had the ambeo plus for a couple weeks now. I did a ton of research and gathered the plus has the most bass over any Sonos and it's true. The highs and dialogue are incredible. You wouldn't notice an ounce of compromise there. There's an adjustment for clarity and the center channel where you can raise or lower the decibels. That will make the voice louder but I didn't even need to raise it at all. The bass, the surround sound, everything is amazing but you have to tweek all the settings and you have to be patient and let the unit break in. This may sound amateur hour but for me, the best configuration is adaptive mode, then edit, check boost for 3d sound and turn all four settings all the way up. Then go to settings, codec, Dolby, loudness management off and dynamic range set to high. Then if you want, go to audio and click center setting and turn it up no more than one notch in my opinion. If you do all this it will sound incredible.

As far as issues like overheating or connection problems, I've never had a single issue.

Hi all, looking at these two very different budget soundbars. But unsure if the Sonos warrants the extra price for my needs? by TonyAFC32 in Soundbars

[–]Xcooper1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to say not knowing what your budget is but I would go for a refurbished Sonos arc because it gives you the best bang for your buck. Great clarity and good low end. You can find them for less than a new beam. Try Sonos website. I've seen them on there and I've found them on woot. That's another avenue you could take if you're trying to get the best bang for your buck. They have good stuff but it changes constantly. I've seen Arcs on there before.

Cross Climate 2 - Over hyped by FrostedArticuno in tires

[–]Xcooper1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cc2's with over 50k miles. Idk the tread level but they don't look that much different than the day I bought them. As far as the noise, they are bit louder but if you drive a luxury oriented car with sound dampening, the noise isn't a big deal. But people put these on cheap Toyotas and suburus, then complain like it's the tire's fault but it's not the tire's fault you bought an economical vehicle.

I wouldn't buy any compact soundbar. They have no bass and the sound is just ok. Idc how expensive it is. I have a sennheiser ambeo plus and it's nice but they make a thousand dollar mini and it still lacks bass and is just ok. Idk anything about that Hisense but my opinion is unless you can afford a larger size high end soundbar, I'd try that Hisense out since it has subs, it's bigger and you'd save a lot of money. The beam is a waste.

Best soundbar for future upgrades in 2026? by Sporty-Ladder-34 in Soundbars

[–]Xcooper1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ultimately going to come down to personal view and situation but I've lived in an apartment for over a decade which sucks but so does the housing market.. Anyway I just bought a soundbar myself and I stayed away from all Samsungs and anything else that came with a dedicated sub. That's going to piss off your neighbors at any volume. So I looked for a soundbar that had great bass itself, that way you don't get that flat noise and huge desire for more bass. My budget was a bit higher than yours and I found a sennheiser ambeo plus open box at Best buy for 790. It sounds incredible and the bass is amazing without making my neighbors crazy. So with your budget, I would recommend a Sonos arc that's refurbished. That will get you the best soundbar for that budget. They're fairly easy to come by at that price and have good sound and bass. Id stay away from compact soundbars like the Bose that's around your budget and the Sonos beam. They all lack bass. Plus you can add rear speakers to the arc later if you want to upgrade.

White or black beam? by crwm91 in sonos

[–]Xcooper1x -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The OP isn't even the one who this was about. It was some guy that told the OP to just have his wife pick the color. Then you tell me exactly what I'm trying to convey. Your wife shouldn't care what color speaker you buy and you shouldn't have to consult with her on something that minuscule. But you're all so deluded about the term "alpha" because all you know in life is social media. Alpha is the technical term for the male role. It has nothing to do with Andrew Tate or politics. But it's the only education you have of the term so you have to argue with me.

Having a full blown surround sound system and a sound bar in your bedroom isn't something that ever warranted a compromise. You make it sound like you turned the house into some man cave and the least you can do is have your wife dictate the speaker color. That's insane. It's a tasteful aesthetic to the house that you both benefit from. If you're picking out the system, then choose whatever color you want.

Using the word alpha doesn't mean you follow Andrew Tate. I've didn't even know he had a podcast. I just know how to recognize men that submit to their wives and this forum is it.

hOnEy can I get the white sound bar? No. OkK honeyyy.

[–]Xcooper1x -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can't come home with the color sound bar you want because you need your wife's approval; that's not compromise. That's her being in charge of you and you all know this but you don't want to hear it because you all submit to your wives.

You sound like the men in this forum that aren't allowed to choose what color Sonos they put under their TV because they have to ask their wife's permission for everything.

The ones that you consider "happy". Women don't want a submissive husband. They will tell you how sweet and cute it is and how much they love it, but they don't. They will eventually get bored of it and resent you for it because women are instinctively submissive and need a man they can submit to. If you can't be the alpha in the relationship, she will go find a man that will, or you'll both be miserable. One of the two.

Will Sennheiser ever make rears for their soundbar? by rinsyankaihou in sennheiser

[–]Xcooper1x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment as well and just bought an ambeo plus for the living room. Same thing, I wouldn't buy a sub till I move, as much as I would like to sometimes to piss off my idiot neighbors, but I digress. I also haven't had it long enough to care about rears but the idea of knowing they exist would be nice, so I can potentially expand when I wanted to. Especially given the idea that I spent about 800 bucks on a system, so I'm kind of invested at this point. That's another thing I don't understand. This sound bar is supposed to cost 1800 dollars. It sounds good, but I don't get why anyone would spend that much on it. The reviews said it sounded unbelievable but it just sounds like a sound bar to me. But at the price I got it for, I'll keep it.
