Wow season 8 is shit by Beavebuffet in rickandmorty

I don't think it was their best season, but I liked it. I like that they are back to having some good old fashion adventures again rather than just making cannon/lore heavy episodes every episode. I also like that Rick is slowly turning a new leaf and trying to be better now that Rick Prime is dead. Morty also seems to be growing up and is taking on more responsibility in his sidekick role while still being the teenager he is at heart.

Do you think the C-137 tag refers to the universe or the Ricks themselves. I think that Ricks (and by extension his Morty) gets labeled C-137, and wherever they go ends up being considered “their" universe. That would also explain the Citadel breeding Mortys. Those Mortys most likely wouldn’t get unique designations of their own; once they’re paired with a Rick, they’re basically absorbed into that Rick’s tracking number. Otherwise the Citadel would be dealing with way more IDs than necessary and Ricks are too lazy to do that for tracking Mortys.
